This was DREADFUL. Every song (apart from Moping Myrtle's quite good one in the first half & Unchained Melody in the second) could have been written by some sort of bland software. That guitar! Ugh. I was rooting for the murderer the whole time.
My thoughts exactly. It was almost unbelievable that suvh blandness could come from songwriting greats Rick Nowels and David Stewart.
I expected a score with some kind of edge to it (given their track record and style), and we got the opposite!

What's the run time on this? Thinking of going tomorrow but I'd need to know if I could catch the bus.

There are some twelve pound seats on offer in Sunderland at the sides of the stalls. Was wavering whether to see this or not but at those prices it's worth a go.

It finishes around 2 minutes to 10 if that helps.

I saw this on Saturday, have seen it before in London many years ago with Mark Evans. Obviously this production does not have the amazing special effects that did but I still think it is well worth a watch if you can get a reasonably priced ticket.
I was impressed with Rebekah Lowings and Niall Sheehy, both of whom have lovely voices. The standout for me though was Jacquie DuBois as Oda Mae who I thought was hilarious. Worth getting a ticket for her alone.

As an unashamed blubbering, weeping mess when a good ballad is delivered in a musical,I have to say that ‘WithYou’ in GHOST is a beautiful and poignant song and does the trick every time.

Worth getting a ticket for her alone. Saw Ghost in Liverpool on Wednesday and have to agree with the above. Rebekah has a beautiful voice and acted the part really well. For a touring production standards were really high and I thoroughly enjoyed it. With you is one of my favourite musical songs anyway and Rebekah certainly did it justice.

If anyone’s wanting to catch this cast, I’d hurry up with that as the tour closes in Bradford next weekend.

It's a Bill Kenwright production so if it's sold well should hopefully be touring again by the end of the year.
So much better than the previous incarnation (sorry) with Sarah Harding. I saw that on the opening night at Wimbledon and she was embarrassingly bad as Molly. On the equivalent first night at Bromley in January Rebekah Lowings was excellent.

I wasn’t a huge fan of Ghost when I saw it in Manchester. I thought it looked quite cheap and I was so disappointed with the special effects but the cast were great! Would love to see the original again!

I've been notified that this will be at the Orchard Theatre Dartford from 13-17 October so presumably touring again.

The original London production and first UK tour was really special to me.
In my opinion the show was absolutely butchered by BKL. I very much doubt I'll be seeing this tour.

He does right to avoid Bristol. I’d picket the theatre with production stills of the original west end & tour productions, showing people what they should be getting. This is a butchering that’s legitimately worthy of complaint, and bears so little relation to the original that it shouldn’t be allowed to share the name.

I booked two dates of this version when it originally toured and got refunds for both based on the production and how terrible it was. The ORIGINAL tour was really good (not this production), and the WEST END and BROADWAY productions were right up in my top shows/experiences in a theatre. I fell in love with this show and it quickly plummeted to the bottom ranks of shows just based on this production which is so sad. And maybe says a lot about things being production dependent for some shows (& as much as I love it, maybe says something about the quality of the material if a lesser production can ruin it?). There are some shows that I’ve seen spectacular big money versions of, and amateur versions, and loved both. There were so many poor choices and decisions for this production and the first time I’ve seen a professional tour / show where the band / keyboard had to start playing the melody for the lead to be able to know what they should be singing. Really painful experience!

Would love to see the original again! Yeh I loved Ghost. Saw the original cast in London and saw the first tour and the BKl version. Very C&N(cheap and nasty) which unfortunately what BK is. He cheapens every show he puts on... would love to see it again but if it is this version I won’t be going....

I enjoyed this production on all 3 times I've seen it. Carolyn Maitland was just stunning as Molly and thought Andy Moss was great with her. I enjoyed Rebekah Lowings and Niall Sheehy as well. I saw them at the start and end of their run and they definitely grew into the show. Albeit the production is cheap but with that music you can't too wrong in my opinion.
