I guess it is SO cheap to run and they have nothing else booked in so it's just about worth it to extend. Also with some decent marketing (hopefully pending) it is a show that really should do well over Xmas/New Year. Hope it can, was a fun night. Bit late to be bringing out the decent marketing!

I'm surprised it's extending. I saw it at the beginning of the month and really enjoyed it, but there were lots of empty seats.

The code 2FOR1 gets half price tickets for performance for next week (from the official website). You can book single seats, they don't have to be in pairs.
That gets the top price tickets down to £20.50 (slightly more than the £15 partner deal, but you can't choose your seats with that one). It doesn't work on the balcony seats, but you can pick up the rows at the back of the stalls for £11.75.
Not seen this before, so looking forward to it. And Luke Bayer is always worth seeing.

An enjoyable show with catchy songs.
Last night wasn't terribly full (around 50 from my quick head count). The usher did encourage everyone to move forward at the start. I already had a good front view seat booked, from where the view is excellent.
When I booked, it appeared from the seating plan that I'd got one of the only remaining available front row seats, so it was surprising about half the role was empty (but filled with the move forward). They must have some held off sale, or with an agency.
Had a chat to the lady next to me, who had been a few times and was enjoying the show as much as ever. I'm fairly sure she was a big Six fan based on the discussion, although I couldn't contribute too much to that discussion as I've still not seen it. She shared rumours of the replacement cast, which are the leads are not from the current cast, they have a fan base and that another may come from Six.
I didn't spot any weak links in the cast. Luke Bayer was excellent as always. Lots of eye contact. And Millie O'Connell sang brilliantly.
It was the first show of Hollie Taylor as Dana (one of the sisters) and she really threw herself into the role with great comedy timing and (I'm told) a very different take on the role to the actor she replaced.
Don't think I'll get back, unfortunately, unless the replacement cast extend, but it's an enjoyable enough show that could easily become a Christmas tradition.

Luke and Millie are leaving the production on 21st December (original end date before the extension). Michael Mather will play Robbie and Livvy Evans will play Velcro from 23rd December.

Argh, their site is infuriating. So long since I last bought direct with them that I seem to have forgotten my password, but its 'forgotten password' thing isn't working, so I can't log-in and so can't buy tickets!

I finally saw it live. I went in wanting to like it as I enjoyed listening to the CD. But, unfortunately, I found it still a bit like a prototype. Particularly, the scenes with ugly sisters need to be polished, IMHO.
I preferred Act 2 to Act 1. Act 2 had more genuine emotions.
Still, it was great to be able to see the actors in action so close up. What a luxry.
But I do wonder how the theatre makes ends meet. At the matinee today, it was only 40% full. And they don't even advertise themselves. The general public have no way of knowing its existance.

In tonight with the fam.Michael and Livvy in the leads now and doing a fine job.Great vocals from the whole cast.Absolutely love this show.Prince Andrew got a name check in the ‘Fifteen Minutes Of Fame’ song which caused a ripple in the audience.Sharp choreography in a tight space. All the comedy lines worked really well.Very appreciative crowd who really got into the spirit of the show.

We managed to catch this on Saturday for the matinee, as we wanted to see Luke and Millie before they left! We've always enjoyed the cast recording, and I think the concept is a clever twist on the Cinderella story. It just felt like it was a free space to do this show, and they tried to make it work with the traverse staging, which wasn't the strongest. All performances were fab, and they all did wonderful jobs with the material. We really struggled with lighting, it just felt messy and half the time certain lights only light half a performers bodies! But overall an enjoyable afternoon, and probably our last show before the new year! 3* from me

I caught this last night and as much as i like the show, didn't think that this was a strong production of it. There were some dodgy vocals going on, but Michael Mathers delivered a fantastic 'Glass Slippers' The new song added didn't do anything but bring the show to a grinding halt, and though i can see why a song was needed for Prince and his fiancee, this didn't do it for me.
I'm not sure if they were cast members down, but some of the ensemble dancing on their own was odd in the group numbers.
Some of the ugly sister stuff was dragged out and all the movement stopped their lines being heard clearly enough.
The book could do with some updating but i still feel its a fun show, that can only be improved with better staging and performers.

I saw it yesterday too and definitely preferred it at the Soho Theatre how ever long ago that was. The sisters stuff definitely dragged, but I feel like that is possibly the case in any version, I have never really liked their stuff so however long it is is too long for me!
Also I can't say I appreciate having been sold a programme from before all the cast changes which means I have 7 people, according to their website, that I didn't see in it! I only briefly glimpsed at it during the interval and since I'm pretty rubbish with faces wondered were the understudies the ones that took over? So as I left I asked an usher who the main two were, and were they just the understudies now. He opened up a programme, showed me them so I accepted that I hadn't looked at my programme properly and just hadn't seen that they were in there somewhere. Oddly I only really properly look at programmes at home and have discovered it's definitely of no use at all! Luckily I'm in Central London again today and will see if I can swap it for a proper programme (if their box office is open).
Huh? There was a new song? Guess you are comparing it to the original concert as there was a song for them at the Soho Theatre. Having just compared my programmes the only differences are the order of things and that this version has more reprises.
Edit: Managed to swap my programme!
