Would 9:00 be to late to get to the theatre for a Wednesday? Whenever I have dayseated for this show, there have been at least 30 people there by 10am. I'd go open-minded regarding going to the matinee or evening show just in case. Kinky are quite good at offering any seats unsold for dayseat price if the front row sells out so you will be fine either way. Seriously? Atleast 30?! I think we're probably get there for like 9:00 and just hope for the best! As it'll be a Wednesday matinee, there might be some good seats across the whole auditorium for only £25, if we don't get front row. If not then we'll just have to go to tkts I guess. Thanks for the help!

On dayseat.com I do record what people report via twitter, so you can get a good idea from there. Yes thank you, I read that yesterday. Dayseating for a Wednesday matinee seems okay, not loads of people? Would people suggest dayseating on a Wednesday or booking via Kids Week? I'm edging towards dayseating as better offers?

If you can get there early enough then dayseat. It's not really a big deal to have to sit around for a few hours to get those tickets. (My friend and I got there at about 7:30 a few weeks ago and were third in the queue but by 8:30 there were about 15 people queuing, so I wouldn't underestimate the amount you'll get). Really it's up to you, though. It depends where you want to sit/what you want to pay/how much commitment you can make to getting to the theatre early enough without hassle.

Ah yes I've seen the show before but my Nan hasn't and she wants to and I wanna see it again. Never dayseated before but wouldn't mind too and you get some great deals! It's not hassle getting to London at all. It's probably a better deal than Kids Week. A Wednesday matinee shouldn't be that much of a queue either

Decided we are going to try and day seat for this show on a Wednesday matinee in October. Hopefully will get 3 seats! Will probably aim to get there for around 9:00.
Thanks everyone for the advice!

In case anyone was wanting to hear, this is Arun doing Land of Lola. He was fabulous when I saw him!

Anyone wanting more of a flavour of both Arun and Paul as Lola and Charlie here is the West End Live performance!

So glad they performed that number!
Such a great show! Really hope to return later in the year - so uplifting and fun! Love the soundtrack too!

I love Paul so much. Was so happy to see him as Charlie today at WEL!

I've seen both in those roles. Paul was not as great as Killian! Arun, not as good as Matt either but he was amazing, and it was only his 3rd show I saw and he was amazing!

I too have seen both Paul and Killian as Charlie and for me Paul was miles better than Killian. But then I seem to be one of the few people who just don't "get" Killian. He has a good voice but both in The Committments and Kinky Boots I have preferred his understudy.

Me too. I like Killian Donnelly a lot and think he's got an amazing voice but I've preferred his understudy every time. Paul seemed a lot more human ... I'm not sure exactly what I mean, but I found it easier to empathise with him in the role. Anyway I loved their performance yesterday.

This may have been asked before, so apologies if so, but is there a cover schedule for when Callum or Arun are on? Seeing it again on Wednesday and both leads are off.

Callum is First Cover, Arun is Second Cover and Marcus is Third Cover. So you will likely have Callum who has a great track record when Matt is off. Arun has only played the role about 5-7 times I believe, but he was amazing! And Marcus has never done the role.

Thanks Daniel, for confirming. I'll be glad to see Callum before he leaves for Australia at least once.

It was a nice surprise to see Arun and Paul at WEL, i've only been once to KB and saw Matt and Killian, so it was nice to get a taster of some of the covers in the roles, also the cover for Don. I thought they both did great but i think maybe Arun didn't have as strong a voice as Matt. You can't really judge properly on just this small WEL performance though.

This Wednesday, both Killian and Matt have a holiday booked, so anyone who wants to catch a double understudy day, that would be your opportunity!

Kinky Boots website is incorrect. Both Paul and Killian have said that Killian is off Monday and Tuesday this week, not Wednesday.

Oh how interesting, the website had tickets on sale through May 6, 2017 even though the show was only announced through January 14, 2017. And now have them only booking until January 14, 2017... I'm assuming they have finally realised the error.
So I assume either people who have booked beyond January will have been rescheduled or May 6 is the date of the next booking period so those who have booked have just been told to save their tickets?
