What a fantastic production. I’ve never really liked the film but this really worked for me. And the cast seemed to be having as good a time as the audience. Highly recommended.

Saw this last week in Newcastle and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone was having a great time. I was particularly impressed with Ross McLaren who played Cosmo. It was lovely to see Sandra Dickinson again as Dora. I have seen the show a few times over the years and glad to see it’s still a great production and not scaled down like other shows.

Totally agree. Saw it in Newcastle too and it wouldn't look out of place on a West End stage. It was absolutely glorious.

What a fantastic production. I’ve never really liked the film but this really worked for me. And the cast seemed to be having as good a time as the audience. Highly recommended. I was there last night and I totally concur. It was utterly joyful from start to finish. I loved the chemistry between Adam Cooper & Ross Mcclaren - who was really funny as Cosmo. And there were moments when Cooper would just smile genuinely with pleasure when he was dancing. Sets, costumes and chorus were all fantastic too. The best behaved large audience I have sat with for a while - didn’t hear a phone or anyone singing along….. A really lovely night out.

Another big fan of this production over here! I saw the matinee last weekend in Newcastle and it was fab. Theatre looked almost sold out, no phones or bad behaviour and very enthusiastic applause in all the right places. All the leads were excellent. Sam Lips had a lovely charm as Don and Ross McLaren so much fun as Cosmo (a brilliant Make ‘Em Laugh). A definite crowd pleaser I can’t wait to see again 😊

I went to the last tour years ago in Liverpool and went to see it again last summer in Sadler’s Wells. Was in two minds about seeing this a third time but was tempted by Adam Cooper playing Don this week, and when I checked the website there was a single seat just off the centre of the front row, so that was that. It’s a real feel-good show and I loved every minute of it, especially getting absolutely soaked. Kept realising I was grinning to myself. Was particularly impressed with Ross McLaren as Cosmo, as I think some of those comedy bits he has are a bit dated, but he made Make ‘Em Laugh one of the highlights. Might try and see it again when it gets to Liverpool, where it’ll be Sam Lips and Kevin Clifton as Don and Cosmo.

For those who have seen the tour, is there a splash zone in the front stalls or are you likely to stay dry?

For those who have seen the tour, is there a splash zone in the front stalls or are you likely to stay dry? The orchestra pit was open today, even though it wasn’t used, and he still managed to splash people behind me, so yeah, expect to get wet if you’re in the first three or four rows.

Well this was as lovely as remembered & expected. Not a weak link to be seen and so classy. Fantastic choreography and just all round quality.

A real birthday treat this was tonight following last nights disastrous visit to Legally Blonde. Not a single weak link. A heavenly production with polished performances from every single person on the stage. Great to see they haven’t had to compromise on quality when taking it out on the road after Sadlers Wells - shows that it certainly can be done without the need to cut corners. Picked up a ‘Singin’ In The Rain’ umbrella from the merchandise stall too - had to be done.

A fantastic night last night watching this at the Liverpool Empire. With only Sam Lips absent (replaced by Peter Nash as Don Lockwood), this really is a top-notch production. A fantastic cast and a 9-piece orchestra kept us all thoroughly entertained. Having decided to get a front stalls seat, it really was a great sight to see all that wonderful choreography up close. However, maybe it was a little too close for the title number with Peter seemingly wanting to make sure those of us near the front didn't remain dry by the end of Act 1 or at that stunning finale with the silver umbrellas.
In respect to casting, it was just a joy to see this cast on stage. I couldn't fault anyone last night. Everyone was just great to watch and listen to. It was a good old-fashioned staged musical and a nice break from all the pyrotechnic stuff that I normally enjoy.
Overall rating - 5 stars.

Saw this the week before The Cher Show.
I don’t recall where the quote “trash cannot complete with class” came from but it applies here. And that’s to the audience as well as the show, sadly.

Saw it two consecutive nights in Brum.Once from front stalls☔️and once(a better choice for the quick-fire choreo) from front Circle. Agree that this is a solid-gold smash. Really slick performances all round and cast seemed to be having the time of their lives. Stand-out routines for me were ‘Moses Supposes’ and ‘Lucky Star’. We had different Cosmo’s in each night-one guy did the wall flip in ‘Make Em Laugh’ and one went through the wall that was covered in paper. Wonderful lighting design throughout. Highly recommended!

Caught this in Wimbledon on Monday with one of the Stalls price promise seats. The view was good apart from losing the edge of the stage/screen. I could no doubt have moved forward like a lot of people, but I decided to stay out of the splash zone (although it didn't actually seem like a lot of water left the stage).
This is an enjoyable show and the tour cast is excellent, particularly Sam Lips and Charlotte Gooch. Tickets sales aren't brilliant though, but there is another major event happening in Wimbledon this week (and suitably chaotic tubes as a result). Worth seeing.

Seems to be a lot of discounts going around for this production. Anyone happen to have a code for Glasgow in August? Tickets are still quite pricey and I'm not sure where the codes are being found.
Saw the tour in Edinburgh and would love to revisit it with 3 of the main actors being different from a couple months back.

ATG theatrecard have a fab offer of £22 for second price front stalls described as “limited time offer” for seats Mon - Thurs in Glasgow. That’s compared with the regular price of £52 or the usual theatrecard price of £47.

It’s £35 for the year. Usually all shows will get a minimum of £5 off, or £10 on opening night but you only need a couple of offers like the one above for it to pay for itself for the year. Just weigh up how often you’re likely to use it.
