^Monique Young was Kathy in the Paris production,I read. Monique played Kathy in 2017 when they staged the production again in a temporary theatre at the Grand Palais (while the Chatelet was closed for refurb), it was Claire in the original 2015 run.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kevin Clifton from Strictly were to lead this tour

I wouldn't be surprised if Kevin Clifton from Strictly were to lead this tour Zoé Ball said on Radio 2 this morning that she'd heard a rumour he was going to be "in a major show".

Just had an e-mail about the postponement of this for a year. Nice and simple links to either accept the same performance next year, a gift certificate or full refund.

Lest we forget the season at Sadlers Wells first...cannot wait. Is this definitely happening ? The Singin' In The Rain tour website has no reference to the Sadlers Wells dates, rather suggesting that the show will open at Canterbury next March, and includes the phrase " back to make a splash in 2022" I guess that the tour is separate to the London run but if it's the same production and cast I'm surprised it's not mentioned at all.

It does need some publicity as there's a very high percentage of available seats right now.

The SW and tour runs are separate beasts, with partially different casts.

The SW and tour runs are separate beasts, with partially different casts. Has there been a cast announcement? The Sadler's Wells website only names Adam Cooper & I'd like to know the rest of the leads at least before deciding whether to go - especially as when I saw it in the WE Cooper was off (& it was one of the few occasions where I've found an understudy unsatisfactory) so I wouldn't have 100% confidence he'd be on if I tried seeing it this summer!

I had a theory at least last year Charlotte Gooch was going to be in the cast as she made a ‘would have been opening night’ tweet on what would have been the SITR opening which was then responded to by Andrew Wright referring to the eventual future opening

I'm not sure I see Kevin as Cosmo, but I am almost tempted to see what the hell that looks like, though not necessarily at the prices I can find currently.
