Touring from Autumn this year! Doesn’t sound believable. The show hasn’t even done a year in the West End yet.

Even though she doesn't fancy you Even if she doesn't notice you Pretend you knew her brother and helped him through And you will get laid. How did THIS beat Come From Away and Groundhog Day? Shame they didn't use my alternative lyrics on the Lottery concert show.

I saw this for the first time last week (from the front row - hello spit zone!) and absolutely loved it. I got into the Broadway recording during lockdown(s) after I'd seen a performance of 'You Will Be Found' on TV, so was familiar with the music and the production itself really didn't disappoint.
Sam Tutty - what a star! Wow. An incredible performance.
Understudies were on for Zoe, Alana, Larry - all excellent.
I loved it so much I've already booked a repeat visit.

I love musicals but never seen this. Would you recommend the soon to be out DVD? As someone who really dislikes the show (I have a peek in here every so often) the film is somehow worse, so go see the show if you want to see it in any form 😂

I liked it! But each to their own. Probably makes sense to the the stage version first though.

I love musicals but never seen this. Would you recommend the soon to be out DVD? I love the musical, but didn't like the film. I think the massive issue for me was Ben Platt (who was brilliant on stage) is now just too old to play at 17yo convincingly and it just took me straight out. With so much young talent available, it's disappointing they went with a "name" for the film.

I'm afraid I've never heard of him so not a name to me. - My youngest son has said for me not to buy the DVD as he's ordered it for me for Mothers Day.

Ben originated the role on Broadway and was in other films like Pitch Perfect. Great singer and actor. Just wrong for this.

To be fair Anita, they went for ‘the’ name rather than ‘a’ name, the same way that if they were making the Wicked movie ten years ago it would automatically have gone to Idina.

Yes, but while it didn't work out on this occasion, it is nice to see a Broadway star take their big hit to the screen - it doesn't happen very often!

I was really excited to see the DVD as none of my local cinemas had shown the film and I haven't been able to get down to London to see the stage show. I was a bit disappointed by it, but perhaps I'd hyped it up too much. It seemed very quiet. I liked the music, although most of the big songs seemed to be in the first half. It covered a lot of important issues though, and I will watch it again to see if it grows on me (as the Greatest Showman did).

Finally saw this today. Sorry to say it left me cold, apart from a couple of moments - but I guess I am not the target audience, being of the older generation. I found it long winded (could easily have lost half an hour from the first half alone) and, as a massive lover of musicals, I even found myself thinking 'oh no, not another song'. Sam Tutty wasn't on, but I have to say his alternate, Marcus Harman, was superb, the one saving grace. Sorry, DEH fans.

Have you had a chance to watch your present yet, anita ? Yes. Evan was a much more likeable character than I was expecting. - He never intended to lie. I didn't have a problem with Ben agewise. I found the music rather dull though. Overall I enjoyed it.

New promotional music video for You will be Found:
I like the concept of it showing off the theatre and performers rather than characters out of context

Finally got to see this show on Saturday night, after having tickets since 2019! I thought it was excellent and really tight, Sam Tutty was incredible, as were the rest of the cast. Samantha Mbolekwa was on for Alana and Mitchell Zhangazha was on for Jared and they were both brilliant. I really enjoyed this show and would love to go back, I’m hoping they’ll announce a tour in the next year or two.

I saw this on Monday. Marcus Harman was on instead of Sam, so my first time seeing him. He was very good, although it is odd seeing someone else in the lead role.
Haydn Cox was on as Connor Murphy (although all the stage and screen photos still showed Doug Colling, which looked rather odd). Perfectly fine anyway and I've now seen Haydn in two of his cover roles.
I managed to get front row rush, which is really an excellent view, although very close. You do pick up on things you can't see some further back, particularly the excellent work that Lauren Ward does to convey emotion.
This is one of those shows that has grown on me since first viewing. I can see why it has a devoted fanbase. My only wish, having seen the movie recently, is that they do revise the book a bit, as I do think the movie improved upon it.
