I commented on thepost on facebook saying this is not a good image of Andy as Sam and isn't flattering of either of them... they deleted my comment.
Wasn't rude to Sarah or Andy, just a bad choice on the promotional part.

In every photo from this production Sarah H has an odd pallor.
Whoever is doing her make up needs the to pull back on the beige panstick.

In every photo from this production Sarah H has an odd pallor. Whoever is doing her make up needs the to pull back on the beige panstick. Maybe they misinterpreted the script & thought she was the one playing the ghost... (Sorry, couldn't resist!) |

I posted on the Facebook page about the latest cast photo saying they have made the lead man, who is very handsome, look very un handsome. Which is an achievement in itself. Someone replied actually he is not meant to look handsome as he is dead.

Why, it's almost like some musical theatre performers actually learn this kind of stuff before accepting major roles!

Andy Moss has done himself no favours with his comments about people criticising him/Sarah/the show online. Making personal attacks on those who criticise you is never a good idea.

A friend saw it in Newcastle last night, he said the only good thing about the production was Jacqui Dubois.
That's because she can act and sing. Unlike the rest.

That would be because on Monday night Sam Ferriday played Sam!!! No announcement, no sign, no paper in the program!!!! I wouldn't know Andy Moss if he punched me in the face it wasn't until I went on Twitter and saw people wishing him luck playing Sam that i realised! Very misleading and clearly the press that attended had no idea which now makes sense why they didn't annouce it! Well it didn't matter anyway even he wasn't enough to save the show Sarah Harding is beyond terrible her acting and singing was just no where near the standard you expect and inwas really hoping people had just been harsh! I tweeted ghostontour and the empire but no comment as expected! Haha |

Edited to say that just looked on Twitter and Sam Ferriday said he was on as Sam on Monday and they reviewed on Tuesday when Andy Moss was on. They still didn't announce the change though.

Do you know. My admiration for Sarah Harding has increased. Those early reviews were vitriolic and whether she was right or wrong for the part or whether she should have been chosen or not, she's picked herself up and got on with it when she could quite easily have quit.

So turns out this wasn't the car crash I was expecting after reading everything on here. I think my expectations were lowered so much.beforehand that I took it for what it is. Sure it's not the original but for those who don't know any different it's a good night out.
