Noel’s last show was the 5th Jan. Since Monday 6th it’s been covered by the alternate/covers and will be until David begins

Baz said to someone on Twitter there won't be anything between SoR and Cinderella as the theatre is being refurbished. As for SoR closing, I enjoyed it but can't say I'm surprised it's closing. I imagine it will do well on tour though. Why are you not surprised it’s closing? Three and a half years in a west end theatre is good going. Oh, I absolutely agree. It is a good show but didn't think it would particularly be a long runner i.e. Matilda, Wicked etc. |

2nd covers on for Dewey and Rosalie this afternoon. I’d have been thrilled but wonder how most audience members would feel. Especially as Noel is still named on the website. Wonder who I’ll see tomorrow!

The only thing that would get me to see the show would be if I could catch the 2nd cover Dewey, Rob Falconer. Unfortunately whenever he's been on with enough notice it's always clashed with me already being booked to see a Mischief show, which is ironic as I want to see him because he's a member of Mischief.

Sorry. Not sorry that the last 3 posts are all me.
The show was amazing this afternoon. Rob Falconer was brilliant and the cast were on fire. I will miss the show but if today was my last visit I can go out on a high!

He’s on today matinee too :-) This afternoon I was at Bank Robbery. Yesterday afternoon I was at Peter Pan Goes Wrong. Like I said, every time! Which probably says more about how much Mischief I see than about the SoR covering system. |

Producers are holding all tickets back from general sale, they have an invite list and once everyone replies and tickets have been allocated they will release any available tickets. Box office don’t know when or even if there’ll be any tickets left to sell |

I think we'll plan on that weekend and see if anything gets released nearer the time, and if not go to one on Saturday. |

Front row of the stalls tonight for £20 via GILT - unbeatable value!! Despite the programme saying Noel Sullivan was Dewey, and the electronic cast boards saying it was Jake Sharp, it was actually David Fynn who I’d missed first time around. So glad it was him. It really is a good show - has forgotten just how much of Variations was recycled into it though. And that old Marti Webb song  |

Sorry if this has been asked many times, but I just wondered if anyone knew roughly the standby schedule? I'm hoping to see the show for a final time on a Friday night and just wondered if usually the 1st cast Dewey is scheduled on, on Fridays? Would love to see David.

More seats added to the GILT New Year Sale since I looked last weekend, including front row stalls side block for £20 for most performances. Booked a Thursday matinee.
There's a high stage warning but I've sat there before and i'd say it's fine for anyone over about 5 feet tall.

They’ve now stopped dayseats, student & senior discounts and the lottery. Full price tickets are the only option from today onwards.

This has a good message,was in good shape when i went last week. Place was pretty full ,its attracting a beginner theatre audience , and the show is a good breeding ground for talent. Looks like another poor ALW choice to close it.

If you have a policy and pretend to be accessible, you should stick to it even when you're not flopping. Limiting them would be fine, but stopping them completely seems odd. |

Let’s face it, they keep it open and people moan about it discounting and being on its backside. They announce that it’s closing and everyone suddenly wants to see it... at the discounted price. What are they supposed to do?

Unprofessional lol! How is running a business like a business being unprofessional? Sounds like the height of responsibility to me. I think this generation of theatregoers are getting far too used to discounted seats. If cheap theatre is all people want then don’t complain when you don’t get lavish transfers or nice sets. Just the same old tatty Blood Brothers set and Selladoor doing kids shows. Learn to be happy in one of the (poorer quality) cheap seats at a lavish show, rather than expecting them to discount their product.

Indeed. Demand goes up, price goes up. It’s simple economics. I know we all like a bargain but this discount culture which absolutely eminates from London and just isn’t seen in the regions smacks a bit of people wanting something for nothing.
