Isn't it Blood Brothers 30th Anniversary this year? Wouldn't surprise me if that came in as a celebratory limited run.

If it's Kenwright, could it be La Cage or is that seemingly off? What about Sound of Music? Those sets will surely be stored up for the tour and would seem an easy sell.

Shows confirming in the next 24 hours, two doses of Kenwright looking likely. Evita and the Gore Vidal play with Martin Shaw? Or The Exorcist?

Latest update is that the Phoenix is going to be dark for a couple of weeks, then have two "short running" shows, followed by a "long running" show. Shows confirming in the next 24 hours, two doses of Kenwright looking likely. It'll take them that long to remove all those sunflowers

With the Evita tour closing in July then having Manchester dates booked for December to go back out on tour... bit of a limited engagement sized gap there...

Evita followed by The Exorcist Also what I'd heard - was all but confirmed as of this morning. Should be announced very soon, opening first week in August.

I'm so there for The Exorcist. I saw Evita in Milton Keynes so it's unlikely I'll want to see it again by then.

Evita followed by The Exorcist I am ALL for the Exorcist! I am a total horror junkie and love the film. When is Exorcist playing?

I'm obviously in a minority here, but disappointed Strictly Ballroom isn't on the cards. Usually I'm not keen on film adaptations (especially when it is a favourite film) but heard good things about this.
Perhaps another time......

Me too - I saw Evita ages ago when Louise Dearman played Eva and I've no real desire to see it again, and I hate horror so The Exorcist doesn't appeal in the slightest. Wish we had a new musical coming in instead!

I'd love to see a Blood Brothers revival at the Phoenix, even if it's only a limited run then it would be great to get to relive my 2011-12 addiction again Is Evita confirmed? That's a bit disappointing as I didn't think much of the Dominion run. Then again that theatre was way too large for the show, and notorious mumbler Marti Pellow played Che, meaning I had no clue what was going on for most of it. I'd be willing to give it another chance. If Emma Hatton wants to go and do other things, Ashleigh Gray is welcome to take over as Eva

Les Miserables or Phantom of the Opera long; 1,000 performances; a couple of years; recoup of investment?

Les Miserables or Phantom of the Opera long; 1,000 performances; a couple of years; recoup of investment? I usually consider a long runner 3 years or more. Is that insane? Its a tricky one, because recoup generly speaking means its a success, but some shows recoup in 12 weeks if it is a play with stars and high prices, but it csnt really be considered a long runner haha.
