I voted enthusiastically for Heathers in the WhatsOnStage awards, but I'm delighted to see my other favourites as nominations for the Oliviers:
Caroline Or Change, Come From Away and Songs For Nobodies.
In fact, especially pleased about Songs For Nobodies as I saw it 3 times and absolutely loved it (don't think I saw it mentioned on this board at all?)

Official UK Chart is out, it's gone in at #24, so the initial fans rush clearly has affected it since Monday when it was at #10. It's great though, congrats to all involved.

Are CHF fans and theatre kids the same? Im sure there’s a venn diagram where they meet in the middle but it will be the CHF fans who have done this. They’ll listen to it once, and not having seen the show won’t really like/get it, and will move on to clammering for the next bit of Carrie output. Yeah, quite possibly. Still cool that a musical recording other than The Greatest Sodding Showman is doing the business, even if it will end up at number 23 by next Friday when the chart comes out. Wow! Just one place out... |

It has a young audience, most who probably stream their music and don't buy cds.
Other formats seem to be the way to go these days, vinyls and even coloured cassettes. They could release a cassette in each of the Heather colours and the fan girls would buy them all!

Downloaded the soundtrack from Apple Music earlier...oh my!!!! I suspect they all just recorded an ‘ah’ into a computer and let it do the rest. ‘Inorganic’ is my nicest available word. |

Has there been any date for the physical release yet?
Though maybe I should listen to it on Spotify first before getting excited about a physical release... there’s a couple of songs I want and I like to avoid digital downloads where possible.

I wish these accounts would stop with this teasing kind of thing. I'm getting fed up of it just lately. If you are going to do it at least give a date or a time instead of being so vague.
