Any ideas who will play Mrs J on the next leg of the tour? I'm hoping Amy Robbins might come back, otherwise a new face might be nice. Linzi Hateley is mentioned sometimes, but she's out as she's on tour with Joseph. |

On Kenwright.com Blood Brothers is now marked as UK Tour and West End 2022.
Anyone know anything?
I figured it can't be at The Other Palace, as that's technically off West End, and it's frowned upon to advertise it as West End.

As for available theatres, perhaps either the Gielgud, Arts, Apollo or Ambassadors? I imagine it wouldn't be in a large venue, seeing as it's not a "big" show. |

Bring back Keith Burns. Robbie Scotcher is one of the dullest performers I've ever seen as the Narrator. He is far less menacing a bald guy than Mr. Sheen. Didn't like him in Lord of the Rings, either.
But yeah, it's Niki Evans. Who is superb, but typically uninspired "Blood Brothers" casting. Can't fault their loyalty, though.

Groundbreaking for Blood Brothers and BKL to make the cast more diverse.

hannechalk What did you make of Philip Stewart, Keith Burns or Warwick Evans - out of interest as a big fan? They all bring something different to the role, so it's hard to go 'He's better than him'. Keith Burns was my first Narrator and he left quite the impression. Warwick Evans is just a dream. |
