Notification from TodayTix for a £15 front row lottery for tonight. Assuming this is the end of row seats since standard dayseats are £25. Not sure if this is going to be a regular Friday thing, a daily thing or a one off. The email says its for every evening performance

Does this mean no more day seats? If so that's a bugger for me

Why would you go to Bodyguard (which you've seen and is around until January) over Groundhog Day (which I assume you haven't seen and is closing soon?)

Plus he only saw Bodyguard a week ago.

I only entered to see if I actually win one of these stupid lotteries as I never seem too whilst some people I know win them all the time. Whether I go is a different matter haha.

Interesting the lottery tickets are £15 when general Bodyguard dayseats on a Friday and Saturday are £27.50. I wonder how few tickets they really are giving to lottery. It surely has to be the outermost seats.

It surely has to be the outermost seats. I'd assume so. They kinda shot themselves in the foot by saying front row, otherwise they could of offered out any stalls seats to as many people as they want! I suppose they still can.

I find it strange it's evening shows only when they sell better then matinees (particularly the midweek)

I find it strange it's evening shows only when they sell better then matinees (particularly the midweek) The advertisement does say 'Starring Beverley Knight'. If they did the midweek matinee that would lull some into thinking they are seeing Bev when she doesn't perform. Questionable if they will change the wording for Mondays though

Go for Groundhog Day while you can snag a cheap ticket, good reviews could come out next week and prices will go north and the whole run could possible sell out.
The Bodyguard obviously isn't selling brilliantly or as well as they hoped, there will be loads more promotions including digital lottery, if they can't shift tickets for a Friday in August peak tourist season, then they're going to run other promotions.
Always take a deal if you can, when available.
Also Daniel Johnson and myself will be at Groundhog day today.

Didn't win the lottery but offered £33 seats in other areas on a first come first served basis. So not winning the lottery doesn't mean you don't get to see the show really. I wonder if this will continue throughout the run?

Who will be the first to work out how they do the stage trickery stuff where Andy keeps waking up? Who will be able to remember the score 20 minutes after the show has ended? How many Gin & Tonics will they get through? It's edge of the seat stuff. #HandsOffAndyKarl
