Interesting you say that as i wasnt completely sold on her. I liked her acting and portrayal, she got the humour and had great presence but i wasnt so keen on her voice.
Was great to see Naoko Mori on stage again, not seen her since Avenue Q. She was great albeit in a small role. Likewise really enjoyed Rodney Earl Clarke

Miriam-Teak Lee the clear standout of the women, by some measure: that thrilling soprano matched to a genuinely witty and welcoming stage presence: the woman is a star in the making, brava ! 100% agree. Then to read in the programme this is her first professional engagement. If she can tap, 42nd st have found their new lead!

I didn't like this Something cheap and nasty About the open air Filthy seats as well always Like rancid garden furniture My friend got a stain in her Fendi jumpsuit For those who've never been and are unaware of just how crusty Mr Parsley can be. There are good practical reasons for having plastic seats in an open air theatre. They are quite comfortable to sit in for the duration of the play. You will also enjoy more leg and elbow room than in any seat in the west end. Add in totally uninterrupted sight lines (excepting one row behind the aisle if you are not tall). For Mr Parsley this is a terrible place that mysteriously he keeps returning to. For the rest of us the summer season at Regents Park is one of the most magical experiences London (See Dr Johnson here for the metaphor) has to offer. AND they are are on a roll in recent seasons with their musicals.
