I'm wondering if the strike will cause the release date for part 1 to change. I think Jon said this won’t be the case but I’m still apprehensive.. can we also spill some more production / creatives tea please 😭 this is gonna be a long wait for me and many others |

False, or at least partially false. The Ariana Grande on-set leaks had a full orchestration. If you think they had done full orchestrations for the film,whilst they were still filming, then you're more clueless than you appear. |

Surprisingly, there is very little being added to the story. Some backstories, some scenes extended, 2 new songs in the second Act/second film.
Apparently they're still undecided about Chistery, but they're currently leaning towards motion capture.
What about the glinda and fiyero wedding? |

Has anyone ever hear anything about Rachel Zegler ever being involved in this film? I was watching a video by MIKE ZEROH on Youtube titled "Rachel Zegler BLACKLISTED FROM HOLLYWOOD! New Revelations From STUDIOS! This Is Severe Now" where he claims that she was to be a part of WICKED PART 2 as a "main character" but has been dropped from the film by Universal. I have NEVER heard even the slightest rumor of her even being considered for a part in this film so find the whole report very suspect. Just wondered if anybody else has ever heard this?

Your first mistake was watching a video by Mike Zeroh. An awful YouTuber who uses clickbait negativity to gain views. The majority of things they “report” on never gets proven and they are simply stirring up negativity and controversy to make money. |

Yeah it's just the usual sexist backlash that outspoken actresses always seem to get. Whether you agree with what any of them say or not the response is always disproportional and only seems to ever affect women e.g. Jennifer Lawrence, Brie Larson etc.

That's definitely untrue, she's been working relatively solidly for the last couple of years. She'd recently been re-cast in Paddington 3 because the actor's strike prevented her from coming over to the UK to work on it. |

I don’t think the CinemaCon stuff will ever be made public, it was very raw material and given the scale they want to portray I imagine they won’t want the unedited footage to be seen by anyone other what was supposed to be a small amount of people at CinemaCon. |

Yeah a bad quality version leaked and was floating around on Twitter and TikTok for a little while. I doubt it will ever get properly released as it was very much a first look with unfinished CGI intended to sell the movie to the cinema owners rather than to be seen by mass audiences. We’ll get a proper trailer at some point but it probably won’t be until after the strike ends as they will want to capitalise on the actors social media followings. |

Let me explain.
In the stage show both the Nurse delivering the bay Elphabah and Doctor Dillamond are portrayed by actors wearing masks.
Now, I appreciate that speed and convenience, wearing and ripping off a mask is perfect however I wonder if for the film they're following a similar look as the stage show, so you'll see part of the actors actual face? Or if it'll be a full headpiece, blended in?

I hope that the trailer will debut online but considering how poorly (when compared to pre-pandemic levels) theatrical releases are doing I could see Universal debuting the trailer in theatres for at least a week or two ahead of an online release simply to help drive up initial boxoffice sales because there would be people that would simply go to one of these features just to get their first glimpse of the WICKED trailer.

Certainly there will be a cast recording for the films but how do you think it would be released? An individual album for each film and then eventually release a complete recording of both films together?
