If he really is injured, they should just get a replacement...

I went in late October (my first visit) and got Myles for the full show. Consider myself extremely lucky indeed. He was brilliant!

Maybe he’s just bored & homesick?

Can anyone confirm if Myles has been performing lately? I’m a big fan of the show and follow posts on social media, but I can’t catch everything! I think he was out of the show for about 3 weeks in October due to a foot injury, and then he came back for a few shows at the end of the month (including the Halloween evening performance). But lately, I’ve seen a lot of posts with Kieran in the role and not Myles. Has anyone seen Myles in the show recently? I’d love to see him again, but I don’t want to make the trip if he’s been m.i.a…. Thank you! P.S. No offense to Kieran… he’s great, too! I haven’t seen him since probably late September and even then he only did act 1! I was sat next to someone on Monday who had seen it 6 times in the last 4 weeks and she said she hasn’t seen Myles yet Oh wow… 0 for 6 in four weeks is really unfortunate. I sincerely hope that Myles is doing ok, as these long absences certainly don’t seem normal. I also hope that your seatmate and anyone else who wishes to see Myles gets the opportunity to do so. I mean no disrespect to his covers, since anyone who plays this role is extremely talented by necessity. That being said, Myles is on another level altogether. His singing and dancing are so effortless that he barely even breaks a sweat. And there are times where he seems to defy any laws of physics and biology, like the way he twists, contorts, and lifts himself up during Thriller. His extraordinary performance really elevates the entire production. There’s a reason why he’s the youngest solo Tony award winner in history, and I hope more West End fans will get to witness his brilliance!

I just saw a shot of the cast from the 22 Nov show… it looks like Myles is back! I hope he’s well and continues to perform. Good luck to anyone trying to catch him!

Looks like Kieran is on this afternoon. Wonder if they’re just easing Myles back in, but he sure is off a lot.

Why the obsession? If someone is well enough & available they’ll perform. I was really cross not to see Myles, but appreciate that people get sick and have lives.

No obsession - Myles is awesome but personally I prefer Kieran.
It just feels like for a ‘star name’ they brought over, he’s not often on and I hope it’s not injury-related for him.

We saw Kieran this afternoon. I was initially disappointed not to be seeing Myles but I needn’t have worried, I can’t imagine him being any better.

We are hoping to go again mid February. Last time, we went in September and Myles was on for the full performance. I am hoping he will still be there. Probably looking to go on a Thurs/Fri evening. One thing I have noticed is that they have listed another Standby MJ/Michael as well as the others and wondered if this was gearing up for when Myles leaves or a cast change. Also, last time we booked a few months in advance and got seats in dress circle. Tempted to just wait until we are in London and book when we are there in the hope of discounted tickets. As 5 of us are going, full price for dress circle is a small fortune!

Honestly I wouldn't worry who you get - I've never seen a bad show. Myles is brilliant, but so are Kieran and Kwame as MJ. I saw Andre had made his debut as MJ so now they have four, I too wonder if this was for cast change (when maybe Kieran will take over as main MJ?) or just because Myles has been off a lot so they need more cover options.

Given he must have been granted a visa to come over to work, his lack of actual performing activity must put that in jeopardy.

I feel really bad for him -- I imagine it's an inhuman juggling act to maintain yourself in a production like this. I hope he's OK.

No Myles again all this week according to West End Understudies Thank you for the flag! I had to immediately go and buy a ticket for an evening this week - I think Kieran is fantastic. Looks like Myles is on holiday (or at least not ill/injured which is something!)

I wasn't saying Myles was off for any reason, I just posted saying he was off as I thought people might want to know, I won’t bother in the future
