I forgot I had some Haribo in my bag which got sacrificed to the Dark Lord. Thank goodness I pre-arranged bringing in the food I needed when I went. Noticed they were taking food from people as I was queuing the other day. Managed to sneak my interval chocolate biscuit into my pocket as I waited (their magic advisor could probably have learned a thing or two from me at that moment). In the end, they didn't even try to deprive me of my two pre-show Digestives though - which I couldn't sneak into a pocket. Just as well. My reaction would have made the Battle of Hogwarts seem like a mere skirmish. ;-)

Currently lots of tickets available (pairs and everything!) for next Feb onwards.....if you want tickets suggest you go have a peak! Typical ones seemed to be D26 and D27 in stalls and H23 and H24 in circle, so ok seats!

Madness at stage door tonight. But the actors were really pacient and nice. I got some autographs. Really wanted to get pictures but decided to just wait till next time since most of them looked tired and in a hurry.
Samuel Blenkin was the nicest of them all, stopping to chat to everyone. He's so frikking adorable.

After entering every single week, I (well, my boyfriend actually) have finally won the Friday Forty! We're going next Sunday and I can't wait! We've miraculously managed to stay spoiler free too, so really don't know what to expect.

My sister and I saw the show again on Saturday and really enjoyed the new cast (they were lovely at stage door!) but we were surprised by the amount of empty seats in the balcony alone. We counted 40 at the start, then there was a decent amount of latecomers, but there were at least twenty empty seats in the end.

There were a few empty seats when I was there on Thurs/Fri but not that many - a set of 4 in my row and 2 behind me, possibly a few more behind. Some of the premium seats were empty as well.
I passed the theatre at about 11am on Saturday and there was no returns queue at all, so I wonder how many of the empty seats were bought by touts and not sold, or just bought and not used? Or is it just not as busy now so it might actually be possible to get tickets fairly easily on the day?

We were in the left hand side of the balcony and in the rows of 7 - and there were three empty seats in our row, three in the row in front, two in the row before that and two directly behind us.

That's interesting. Might the hype be slowing down?
I would assume that since many people were forced to buy their tickets many months in advance, they just couldn't make it to the performance because it clashed with other things like holidays, weddings, bigger festivals, etc. and weren't aware of the possibility to return them to the Box Office to be resold? Especially since Harry Potter probably attracts a great many people who aren't regular theatre-goers or who come from abroad. I also noticed the lack of return queue when I passed by the theatre last Saturday around noon.
There may also be far less "pressure" from American fans now who can soon see it on Broadway and don't need to plan a trip to London anymore.
I admit I'd be a little sad if the love for Harry Potter was already dying down and the show isn't selling out anymore.

I hope this doesn't count as a spoiler (I'm avoiding the spoiler thread!) but do they still give out #keepthesecrets badges?

I hope this doesn't count as a spoiler (I'm avoiding the spoiler thread!) but do they still give out #keepthesecrets badges? They did at the end of Part One for me. I thought you'd get one half at the end of Part One and the second at the end of Part Two, but no, so I've only got one half of the pair :-(

I hope this doesn't count as a spoiler (I'm avoiding the spoiler thread!) but do they still give out #keepthesecrets badges? Yes, at the main doors at the end of part 1, so if you leave by one of the fire exits (which is quicker!) you'll need to go back in to get one. I just asked one of the ushers and they pointed me towards the people giving them out.
