Ha! I wish. The earliest I could get was Jan 1st 2016. The furthest ahead I've ever booked anything! I held off until the cast announcement, but the trio looks fab!

I'm hoping that the talk of lotteries does indeed include an online lottery I can enter from my desk, because that is plan A. Luckily I don't have a lot in my life I couldn't easily clear in the event of success. It will be awfully busy, but I can try, dammit. Failing that, I'm going to be crossing my fingers that tickets will start to be returned for relatively near the beginning of the run, because I really do get nervous about booking shows over a year in advance. That's an awfully long time to be concentrating daily on not being hit by a bus.

I'm thinking the lottery will be similar to Friday Rush that the National has.

Has anyone pointed out what money grabbing doing two shows is? No?! Oh well...

Just thought - I wonder if restaurants are going to start snapping up slots to put their flyers on seats for the Part 1s on the matinee/evening days. Try to persuade people to visit them with a few quid off between halves, etc.
Doesn't really sound like Nimax's style though, to allow it.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see meal deals flyers with the tickets if you got them posted.

Anything they can do to hold back from the touting, I guess (it won't work, these things never do stop people who are determined enough..)

Yeah - I've already had a couple of emails offering it at "half price" - £10. To be fair, for two scripts that is a decent price point.

And in hardback. I mean, I was all ready to go "£10 is half price? But Wolf Hall and Bring Up The Bodies were published together in a single volume for WAY less than £20!", but that was a paperback. It's hammering home how rare it is that standard publishing and theatrical publishing crosses over, but the only unusual thing about this really is that a playtext is going to sell a TON. (And yes, there'll be a "definitive" version later in the year that includes changes from previews and should have extra content too.)

I'm not surprised since playtexts are usually published and sold anyway. This is great for all those who can't make it to London (or have tickets for April 2018 or however far in advance it's booking by now).

So they've announced that the script will be published and released 31st July. It's the final 'workshop' script, so I suppose another version will be published at a later stage. Hello book #8. Interesting point about eight books. Other similar series have eight or a promise of eight. So maybe she was obliged..but then she is above any kind of obligation isn't she?

Well, Malory Towers only had six books, one per academic year (until Pamela Cox was hired to produce six more), so seven sounds about right considering it's a school-based series and the school in question has seven academic years, even though hardly anyone went in the last book. JKR's very into "seven" as a powerful number too, Ginny's the seventh child of a seventh child, and there are seven positions on a Quidditch team. I mean, the Charlie Bone series had eight books, but I'd say they were wildly derivative of the Harry Potter series rather than similar to.

So you won't be surprised to hear that Debbie is a lady whom likes to change her mind! Just got front row dress circle seats for end of July (yes, no leg room, surely can't be as bad as the gods at the Manchester Palace?!)!!
If you ain't got tickets left 29th n 29th July are "GREEN" on the Nimax page of HP and they had tickets at all prices!

Oh no! Obviously I have angered HP and my front row of dress turns out to be row I of the dress. Is this bad? It's bad right? Does anyone know HOW bad? Is it worth ringing them and begging for a different seat/refund? Serves me bloody right thinking I may have mistreated the whole HP thing ?

Hi all! New to this board!
I just recently managed to get tickets for 'The Cursed Child' in July! I had lost all hope to see it this year but it turns out Nimax has an activated "wishlist" that you can register in, and so I was able to get tickets through that system. I'm so excited!

I benefitted from the wish list too. Had tickets in October but had to return them because of a family wedding on the same day. While they were being sold, I spotted more availability pop up online and now have tickets for end of July. Worked out well!

It is quite hidden within the Q&A section of the show's site, actually. This is it. Good luck! I'm going at the end of July but they offered me several options, including some in June and August. While filling out the wishlist form I basically told them, "I'll take anything you have" haha

PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE OFFICIAL WISHLIST!!!
I returned my August ticket over nine weeks ago, so it went on the wishlist and it's still there because no one wants it, apparently.
