Yeah I have my reservations about this season being too long, a lot of the judging being questionable and production sticking their grubby hands in unnecessarily (though the latter two critiques could be said about every season) but honestly I think it's a pretty good season. Nowhere near as bad as season 11, probably sits somewhere firmly in the middle ranks with seasons 9 and 10 for me. Season 12 was just so strong though and UK 2 is also really great that this season was bound to pale in comparison airing right after/at the same time as them.

As the Season that will go down as probably the worst Snatch Game ever I think that history won’t be kind. I’m sure the Fame, the Chatcki and the Minj are feeling very smug now.

I think Gottmik and Kandy should have been in the bottom two. And poor Denali was hobbled by having to lipsync in that tight fitting skirt. She spent half of the lipsync having to hitch it up.
And I know it's reality TV and they move the goalposts for how the queens are supposed to behave from one week to the next, but it's infuriating to see the judges applauding Kandy for aggressively biting back and not just meekly accepting the criticism of her. You have literally just asked them to say who should be eliminated and why! I *really* hope she goes soon. She's by far the weakest of the remaining contestants.

What did everyone think?
I was surprised to see Tina go, her advert was good and I loved her runway which had a better execution than Symone’s. I loved Symone’s concept just though the execution was poor.
I love Utica but her advert didn’t hit even for her style.
Loved her runway so don’t understand Michelle’s comments.
Kandy just needs to go and it’s Olivia’s time too. Should have been a double eviction, way too many Queens.
Rose was good this week but I find her so bland.
I didn’t recognise Bryce. Has he a heavy stubble or has he gotten very thin?

Nina West was good. But didn't hit the spot every time.
Sherry Pie looked as if she might have been the one... but...
Tina is just loud.
We are missing so much without that style being properly represented

Wow. Definitely the right decision on who went this week. No clear winner for me still, anyone’s game really.

Kandy wasn't that good. But in that company she was made to look better. Up against the best readers over the years, she is middle of the pack.
But it was a woeful overall standard.
None of them deserve to win. So I think they should crown Bendela....

No previous winner has had a track record as poor as Kandy. So it is unlikely.
The winner is either Symone who has been adored by Ru from the outset or Gottmik who has been saved from bottom two a lot and thus can be seen as being groomed for the win.
Neither of those are my preferred sort of drag.
It has been a poor season.

I don't think the quality has been there from the contestants or the judging.
It has been over produced in a ham-fisted way which makes it feel rigged.
Judging has been inconsistent.
And when you get things like the Lala Bag dress, the poor Snatch Game and the awful Roast, it feels clear to me that it has been a lower quality set of queens.
I think they need to go back to basics with the US version. Strip out the manipulation by producers. Refresh all of the challenges. Make it feel fresh and exciting again. The international series are outshining the original right now.

That was a very inconsistent judging. Symone just did the same sassy character she has always done. But she was praised for it. Kandy did the same as she has always done and was read for it.
Kandy wore one of the worst ever dress/wig combinations in Drag History on the runway. She really looked atrocious.
Probably the right queen went home but it just adds fuel to the fire that this is the most manipulated season ever.

Totally agree, all the queens basically played “themselves” besides Rosé so that’s probably why she won.
I really like her and her versatility, she has a Bianca-esque track record by now and I’d love to see her win the whole thing but it seems unlikely if it’s a lip sync battle finale again.

I don't think Symone was necessarily praised for playing the same character, she was just funnier than the bottom 2 and so was rightly safe. But as always I hated the acting challenge and thought no one was particularly funny. The funniest bits were Michelle's scene, which doesn't reflect well on the actual cotnestants, and Gottmik's "Get away from me you f*cking p*ssy!" And that was seemingly ad-libbed so it wasn't even thanks to the script. It was agonisingly long and slow and I couldn't wait for it to end. What happened to the penultimate episode balls?! Bring them back!

Hopefully Mik or Symone. No doubt to me that Rosé is talented, but I personnly find her very bland; I think the other two offer something more interesting to the Hall of Fame.

I agree, I think Rose is typical of many Drag Queens that have trained in theatre, there’s a mechanical side and the messiness that drag needs, the risk is something that is the antithesis of that training. |

I voted for Rosé but, with the exception of Kandy, I'm really passed the point of caring who wins this season. The only thing that edges it for Rosé for me over the other two is the fact that out of the three she's the one I'd be most likely to pay to see their show, which I'd hope would be comedy and music. Apart from some great looks from Symone and Gottmik, I have no idea what their shows would be.
