I rarely look up the queens youtube performances before the show. I want to get to know them over the series.
Though I am intrigued by the British queen, Charlie Hides.
Do you think it was a good idea to move the show to VH1 on a Friday? It repeats in Logo on Monday as usual.
I thought it started on the 24th??

I'm really looking forward to this, just debating whether I will wait for TruTV to pick it up and air it or if I'm going to have to track it down some other way.
Having seen Charlie Hides on numerous occasions I hope he does really well, I've only ever seen him perform as a character - mostly Kandi Kane or Laquisha Jonz, alongside Delia Smith and Ricki Lake, and he's always been excellent. It's going to be interesting to see how he does without being a character.

I have actually already seen the first ten minutes. So the entrances. I liked the look of Jaymes Mansfield from her VT and Youtube videos but she doesn't have the most confident entrance and i feel a bit like she'll get swallowed up by the others and it might not quite work out for her.

It's always been a weekly show it's just we never had such quick and easy access to the show before. Could always hold off until it's finished and binge it then. Thank god for Netflix! |

I know, right. She'll be out early no doubt. I'd quite like to see the dynamic of a drag king introduced to the race for once.
I personally don't get the hype over Aja, either. Peppermint is easily my fave at the moment, I doubt she will win but I'm hoping for Miss Congeniality at least.

The problem i had was that we didn't get the chance to see their personalities enough, you didn't really see them make their outfits, you didn't see them interact, no challenge or anything, you literally saw one of them moan about not having a work station then it was straight onto the runway segment.
I agree about Jaymes. She is on Youtube so i've seen her a bit but sadly i think she won't last 5 minutes. She's just not up there with them it seems to me, as much as i actually really like her. I disagree about Eureka though, i'm quite liking her so far.
As i say, it's hard to really care about any of them though as we just haven't seen enough of them in that first ep for me to really get any bearings on them.
