I've also gone for a £10 seat. I did see this in NYC and liked what they've done with the music but I don't react well to some of the "surprises" (even knowing exactly when they're coming).
Interesting that they're filming the end of the run.

Why can’t I choose a seat? Gah! What is this? The middle ages? Quite. The Young Vic has plenty of form for this, and it smacks of bad management. How hard can it be to write contracts with directors/producers/set designers to the effect that they need to front-load their planning for layout, and no tickets will be sold until they've firmed that up, and to set them deadlines. On one previous show, I was lucky with excellent assigned seats, and on another I was able to get them changed to something better. Who knows what I'll eventually get assigned for this. I went for Zone B because I'll be less annoyed if I get a poor Zone B seat than I would have been if I were assigned the worst Zone A seat. But I'll still be miffed if there were great Zone C/D seats that I could have picked given the chance. |

I'm sure it will sell anyway but I would have paid more to get a better seat but as its all a mystery didn't bother. |

There is nothing about potential restricted views on my booking confirmation. Is this not dangerous for them? I don’t mind being far away but if there was an obstruction without warning I might not be as understanding.

Booked twice. 2 x 2 lots of £10 tickets and then 2 more for my parents (Band A for £15 as they're over 60). £70 for 6 tickets to a quality production. Can't beat it. Especially considering I paid £55 when I saw it in New York. I've tried several dates but not seeing any offer for over 60s, only a £10 deal for under 25s. Do I assume they are limited and sold out , or am I doing something wrong ? Any advice appreciated. |

If I don't like the allocated seat they only charge £1 for an exchange. |

I picked up a £10 pund seat this afternoon.
It'll be ABBA Voyage on the Monday evening and the Oklahoma! on the Tuesday night.
Out two nights in a row in the big city! Lol!
