That was quick! Really enjoyed this when I saw it in Seattle, coming up 2 years ago! Wouldn't be surprised if they already have a West End venue lined up from the end of next year.

It great to hear an announcement with concrete plans, sometimes you hear producers with intentions and nothing comes of it, this is not the case here with a confirmed venue.
Looks like I will be getting the train to Manchester Piccadilly.

This feels like a pre West end try out so guessing they have their eye on certain theatres for end of next year. I'd guess there will be a few options

Not sure this anything to get excited about judging by all of the comments on the Broadway forums!

Just had a look on YT for any stuff relating to the musical numbers (has an OCR been released?) and some of those sets look impressive.

Been told by a friend that this is going into the Shaftesbury straight after the Manchester run.

I wouldn't be shocked about it but I hope that &Juliet can go on tour after it finishes up in the West End.

Presumably Jason Manford's agent is on the phone already.

This has been doing the publicity rounds in the USA with performances on the Today Show and Good Morning America this week, and - ugh - I think it looks ugly. I had been really looking forward to it since it was first announced, but it comes over as quite in-your-face and tacky. Cheap. I saw Tootsie on Broadway a few years ago and it tackled a similar theme with a lot more class, better looking costumes, and a much stronger score than what I'm seeing from Doubtfire so far.

Seen this on Broadway and loved it (it’s not a masterpiece but I liked the new score, it was feel-good & also many teary moments!).
Simon if confirmed will be great casting!!

I thought it had the Shaftesbury? Since ‘Rent’ and until ‘& Juliet’ the only financial successes there have been existing IP titles. It isn’t that hard to find but is quite uncomfortable; especially the further back you go. A big known name like ‘Mrs D’ could further cement its place as a decent sized musical house. I love that is still ‘independently’owned too.

It is worryingly easy to get affordable seats for pretty much anything at the moment; & Juliet especially.
