Eddie Redmayne hasn't missed a show, rehearsal, promotional event or been late once. Buckley will surely do her final performance, just in time for flowers and the after-show.
I'm sure she will.
After her poor attendance she probably won't get more work in musical theatre.

We need a news "Is Jessie on?" topic to spark some healthy debate.

Yep, can’t imagine she’ll want to miss the last night, even if illness has prevented her doing all shows these past few weeks. I’d be interested to know which shows she’s done this week and if she’ll be on tonight and for both shows tomorrow too.

This thread has been so entertaining for all the wrong reasons. I just wonder what people are going to complain/be outraged/be so negative about from next week onwards.

Fra Fee wasn’t looking very well on those rehearsal pics… How many performances will he miss every week by pulling a Jessie?

The Leagally Blonde thread was closed and threatened with removal if it generally goes round in circles and yet here we are...going round and round...
Does anyone else have tickets for the new cast? I'm going at the end of the month and looking forward to seeing if its been changed at all.
Front row upper circle this time.

Hey,
Has Cabaret changed up their COVID policy? When I bought my tickets it said I needed a negative LF test regardless of vax status to enter. But, I just got an email that says I can either show my vax card or a negative LF test. However, when going on the website it still says LF test required. I'm confused! Has anyone gone recently that can give me the low down?

If Jessie hadn’t kept missing shows we wouldn’t have kept talking about it. That’s not going round in circles, it’s commenting on the current situ… just saying.
Eddie R has been an absolute trooper hasn’t he. Well done him.

For these big concerts it used to be the people at the front are the ones who had queued for longest. Now it's those who have the most money as not only is the golden circle a premium but they add golden circle early entry. Early entry for the golden circle for Lady Gaga in London this summer is an extra hundred pound leaving not much change from three hundred pound when all the fees are added. They throw in some "exclusive merchandise and a lanyard" to try and pad it out but it's huge amounts of money. When I was younger (pre-internet), queuing outside Wembley for tickets for hours was something I would do for a couple of the bands I was into as we knew we could get the first few rows that way.

Ahhh, it was Piccadilly Records in Manchester for me or hours in a phone box with my Dads Barclaycard for Wembley stuff. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger though yeah?

No surprise that there’s plenty of available seats from next week onwards. Hopefully dynamic pricing will kick in and they’ll bring prices down to sell off the remaining tickets on the day/provide more for the lottery. "Plenty"....? Do you mean less than 30 per performance? Wicked, Mary Poppins, lion King, matilda all sell 100-150 tickets a day on doors. By no means is Cabaret struggling. Let me know when you buy a cheapy ... I never said it was struggling. There are seats available on all levels and plenty of them for the coming months and yes, more than 30 per performance… take a look! So yes it’s likely dynamic pricing will kick in, just like it has done at Moulin Rouge recently and I picked up a ‘cheapy’ there.

I queued overnight for Bowie once, when the BO opened they tried randomly handing out tickets in prebound pairs rather than from front row to the back. There was almost a riot when the front of the queue were being given R or S in the stalls. There are a few bands who still keep the GC areas as first, come first served and they deserve the love they get for it I'm sure promoters could raise the same ££££ by just raising GA a tiny fraction and keep it fair but that's just not how their brains work and too many bands just don't care.

Look forward to hopefully catching the new cast some time in the coming months Yes, agreed, although the Jessie saga has been interesting to follow. Looking forward to hearing what the new cast are like once they get started next week. The good news is that if more tickets are available, and if prices do have to come down a bit to keep things selling, it’ll mean those who’ve not managed to experience the Kit Kat Club and the show (either due to the sky high pricing or it being sold out) will hopefully be able to do so over the next few months.
