My sadness is that an archive that was already less accessible for non-Londoners will be even more so. I wish they'd allow some sort of online access. I appreciate there are rights and piracy issues, but theatre and the performing arts are very elitist and the streaming offered during lockdown allowed those on low incomes, in the 'regions', with disabilities and more to view live and archive material that we had never been able to access before. ACE funding is derived nationally but its distribution is heavily weighted towards London.

It is quite a way out into here-be-dragons territory if you aren't familiar with outer London and makes a big difference if you're coming as a day tripper. As someone who travels through it every day, it really isn't - it's 20 minutes from the West End on the Tube. Much easier to get to than many well-known places - Wimbledon, Hampstead, Hampton Court Palace, Portobello Road etc. Quicker than getting to Kensington and the museums! Plus the Olympics were there and it has the biggest Westfield shoppung centre, it isn't the wasteland some people seem to be implying! |

It isn't though, as my post shows - it's no further away and in many cases easier to get to than major tourist attractions. And it's only in Zone 2. Non-Londoners generally don't seem to appreciate that it can often take an hour to get from one end of fairly central London to the other. The beaten track in London is a wide area. Most people also are presumably entirely capable of using maps and/or journey planners to work it out for themselves. |

Anyone who think Stratford is off the beaten track has never been to Enfield, now that is off the beaten track!
Stratford in comparison has the Tube, Overground and DLR serving it and the Elizabeth Line is opening soon which will make it even easier to get to.

You can also get a train from Kings X to Stratford that takes five minutes.

It tends to be planned in advance, and depending on your London terminus this may well be closer when it reopens than its previous home. |

It's not the responsibility of the box office to be all things to all people, but it's nice when patrons who struggle to book things several months ahead are able to buy tickets to popular productions. Not quite so good if the released tickets are all astronomically expensive, but most of the tickets to this were pretty pricey to start with... |

Went to the first preview last night. I had not seen the original and had no real idea of the story at all.
I enjoyed it a lot, it is one I am still processing but I am very glad to have seen it.All the cast were great and you would have not guessed it was a first preview. Rylance being older now also maybe makes Rooster seem even more tragic as a down and out. The audience loved it, with Ryalnce even getting applause at the becoming.
Ended around 22:45 but started about 5 minutes late.

Hi, could you please tell how many intervals/breaks it has? There is a 20 minute interval between act One and Two and then a 5 minute pause between act Two and Three. I was told that the first interval is where you should have your toilet or drink break as in the pause you would not be able to. However lots of people stood up between act Two and Three so I am sure they will make this more clear. |
