Seems to be at the Old Vic theatre according to the rumour mill, with Matthew Warchus directing Apparently it has been workshopped recently at the OV (further up the thread). Though don't be surprised if it appears in the RSC repertoire for the 2024 season... You heard it here first.

There’s a rumour circulating around the thread that it’s going to the Old Vic in 2024. *taps nose*

Has anyone heard more from the workshops? Who was involved cast wise? And anything more on a possibly production? Desperate to see a production of this

The Old Vic is doing this. I’m sure I said that on here over a year ago?
They’ve been workshopping it for quite a while now. A bold move as I’m not sure it would have mass appeal.

...it is indeed Christmas Carol. It makes them a fortune every year so I get why they continue to do it.

Too big a venue and not enough demand to fill it. A short run at the Old Vic will do very nicely. I don't see A Christmas Carol making way for it though - it's selling well this year.

I'm sure A Christmas Carol could go to another regional venue or even the West End, they have a set in the US which is made for touring which could be shipped over here.

Very sorry to bump this without anything new to offer myself - but has anyone heard any more tidbits about this recently?

Ha! I’m sorry - I did seriously question the morality of doing so, and obviously my heart leapt in turn when I saw your reply, so I suppose I’ve been adequately punished.
