I'm surprised Forum doesn't get produced more. Sad face!

West End theatre in the autumn I believe - with a director not altogether unfamiliar with Sondheim.

Although I've enjoyed a number of productions of this in the past, this would be my least favourite for revival. In a less than top notch production it can seem very long - particularly Act 2. I would far rather have Passion (excellent production at the Donmar a few years back) or Forum or Pacific Overtures and I can never get enough of my all-time favourite Merrily We Roll along.

Look I like Sondheim but God I am tired of yet another revival. I’m 37 and only really in the last few years discovering Sondheim, so I’m all for it. ALL the Sondheim revivals please! I’m *cough* 2? *cough* years older than you and also late to the party so yeah, bring on the revivals.

Because I am a fan and also think she is a good fit for the role. She is appropriate age, talented and is a box office name and has worked with Nunn before. She was also excellent in Night Music on broadway (dont judge her just off the Tony's performance)

I was thinking of theatres that may be available and the Lyric will likely be reopened after being refurbished so could be an option

That Donmar production was in fact ten years ago! Would suit the Menier or Minerva.

I’d like to see Jamie Lloyd tackle this. He directed Passion and Assassins. He gets star casts. And he has a theatre available. Winner winner.

My vote goes to Michelle Williams (the Emmy, Golden Globe and Tony award winning one).

My sister is doing a production at uni in April and it was noted it can’t be performed within 100 miles of London at present! I've done a screen shot and doodle from the MTI website

I hope its not one of those stripped back productions. Piano, washboard and 2 spoons. Next thing is they wil be asking the audience to bring their own musical instruments to play the score. I'm just waiting for Sweeney Todd with the cast playing kazuo.
