Nicola Robert's was just on This Morning talking about The Masked Singer and briefly mentioned City of Angels. She kept calling it a play and no mention it was a musical. Thought she could have given it a bigger plug and really didn't sell it at all.

Nicola Robert's was just on This Morning talking about The Masked Singer and briefly mentioned City of Angels. She kept calling it a play and no mention it was a musical. Thought she could have given it a bigger plug and really didn't sell it at all. I think she was a little shy coming on having had to conceal her identity for so long and then suddenly having to come out and be "Nicola Roberts from Girls Aloud", I can imagine it being a bit of shock to the system. She's probably tired too having probably been going to rehearsals every day for the show and I can imagine the show already having a marketing plan in place so I won't worry too much. Still, I'm very excited to see her in a musical with King Hadley Fraser and Queen Rosalie Craig of the West End. Certainly one of the most exciting casts and hoping it will do well and audiences will react well to it.

Josie Rourke's twitter has several clips from the first rehearsal with the band.

I always planned to see this, but after watching Josie's clips on twitter I had the urge to book.
TodayTix currently has an offer on, I paid £35 for the third row of the stalls for the first preview next week! Very excited for this one!

Just my opinion, but "this needs work" - You're Nothing Without Me.

@#@#$%^ Per the Garrick website, Ms. Craig leaves at the end of May, and I don't get to the UK until the end of June.
Sigh. Still planning on booking this, once I know the dates of our travel.
Garrick Website says:
Please note that:
From 30 March Rosalie Craig will not perform the role of Gabby/Bobbi on Monday evenings.
Theo James, Rosalie Craig and Rob Houchen will be appearing until 30th May.
Nicola Roberts and Vanessa Williams will be appearing until 25th July.

I wasn’t bothered about seeing this but this has changed my mind. They all sound brilliant. Nicola and Theo-WOW. This is one luxury cast.

I have a feeling this is going to be rather good. The Donmar cast was fantastic but think this cast will match them.

The singers in the clips sound great. The orchestrations sound VERY thin compared to the originals, presumably because the production will be using half (or fewer) the number of musicians - fine at the Donmar, but not in a larger theatre.
That said, yes of course I have a ticket. It's my favourite Cy Coleman score.

It seems like they have added Rows AA and BB. I was checking for tickets in mid March. Don't remember seeing them in the past. Row AA seats are 20 pounds. The view from the seat on the Nimax chart looks terrible. Caveat emptor.

Had a look at the seating plan and booked for the stalls O 7. I’ve had no issues previously with sitting here and seems a bargain price. Loved the various rehearsal clips posted.

^ Always been on the charts I've had for this show. The view from AA is usually excellent unless the stage is built up - otherwise it's low. For this I'd guess you may miss projections on the floor, perhaps, but £20 is always a steal. Are the projections a major part of it or not? £20 is still a steal without day seating

Thanks for heads up for front row £20 seats, got some for mid March. I hope stage is not crazy high. Is there a reason why it would be built up?

Tempted by the £20 tickets... the only thing putting me off is I seem to remember the stage of Rock of Ages was incredibly high? Still, if BB is full price I can’t see AA being too bad.

I sat in AA for Noises Off. I'm 5'10", and I didn't think the stage was so high that it spoiled my view.

O7 is always a great deal, nice one david . It’s even better when I paid for the ticket using an SOLT voucher. A free night out at the theatre!

Sat AA for Noises Off, it was a great seat and the stage wasn't too high (also payed 20). So trying to swap my seat for one in the front row...
