I'd say the stars of this show are the Casting Director for picking a nice group of hotties, the Costume Designer for Jack Derges' outfit and Jack Derges' gym for . . well just because that's some glorious work on show . .  |

End of act 1, it's only 45 minutes. Programmes are 5£ I'm in the grand circle and it's only 3/4 full Thanks if first half is only 45 minutes, how long is the whole thing then? |

Tried to see if there was any day seats or anything they could offer for a matinee today on the off chance. Sad state of affairs when they can only offer top price seats and would rather not sell a ticket at all than discount it.

That is annoying- I considered seeing it next weekend when I'm down, but the prices they were charging put me off as it seems they did others! A shame as it's an enjoyable play, just not worth top price West End! |

The top price tickets are £40 which is a lot less than most West End plays and all of the Grand Circle is £20. It's a cast of 9 and a very short run. As the prices are already reasonable I can see why the box office wouldn't (aren't allowed) to discount any further at the window. If you look there are a few discounts around...TKTS and Today Tix are both selling for the production.

Ah fair enough, my cursory glance came up with £40 which I figured I shouldn't pay for something I'd seen already and could use that time to see something else! Seems there are reasonable prices then.
PS I loved the pictures of Mark and Ian taking their dog Bunsen to the after party this week

On a matinee I reckon you'd have a good chance of getting upgraded if you bought a £20 Grand Circle ticket. |

Too late now but they had the upper circle down to £10 on GILT which is what I used.
Enjoyed the show, think I preferred act one. Didn't really like the direction the play took in act two.

I can only imagine how high their break-even must be to make this worthwhile. Saw this on Thursday and really enjoyed it. Terrific cast, especially Ian Hallard and James Holmes who is delightfully camping it up, and of course partial male nudity is always a hit! Recommended! |

Not related to this production, but the new Ryan Murphy's movie adaptation directed by Joe Mantello and based on his recent Broadway revival is available on Netflix from today.
