Jordan really is rocking it right now, what a great opportunity for him to get another final show the night before closing! I do wonder if Oliver Tompsett is that ill, he may option to skip the matinee tomorrow so he can pull off the final performance?

He is off for the matinee tomorrow but back for the evening......unless anything changes between now and then as he doesn't feel up to two show.

Thrilled for Jordan getting a final show on the final day. He is the best understudy in London and has been since he became first cover Charlie, and in my opinion, he should of taken over when David left, but I'm thrilled therefore that he will get a proper final performance on the last day.

Natalie McQueen will sadly not be performing in the final two shows. Suzie McAdams will perform in her place. 😢

Damn that's a heartbreaker for her, hopefully Oliver can make the evening show too.

You could tell Oliver was a little bit off on Thurs (didn't do big note in soul of a man and generally looked a bit ill) but he still was v.v.good! But Natalie seemed ok

Did anyone day seat for this then ? I'm curious to know if it got crazy or if it was a tame one I did, I arrived at 9.45 not expecting much, at least I thought I'd be able to get a discounted ticket for the matinee but I didn't :/ Cheapest was £67 restricted stalls. It was not really crazy, and after the front row day seats finished they sold some discounted tix for the matinee, but they were really limited. At least we got Kinky cupcakes

On the night that Kinky Bots opened I was outside the theatre. Today, I stood outside the theatre as the crowds entered for the final matinee.
I've seen the show several times.
I felt like, although not actually in the audience, that being there at the beginning and now the end that I had done a full journey .
"Just be, who you want to be; celebrate your life triumphantly...."

Between this, 42nd Street and Dreamgirls all closing, the West End is suddenly losing lots of glitz and glamour.

Simon broke down near the end of Not My Fathers Son, he had to speak rather than sing some of it and then right at his last part before Oliver joins in, he sobbed and had to pause for about 10 seconds, not a dry eye in the house! The cast also added in a few little extra funny bits that gave most of the crowd a laugh.
One of the best nights I've had in a theatre.

I managed to see yesterday's matinee thanks to someone who sold me their ticket on Facebook, and the atmosphere was crazy. It's probably an unpopular opinion, but I didn't like Jordan's performance as Charlie at all. His singing was okay, but I was really disappointed by his acting, which felt flat, especially having seen Oliver Tompsett's amazing performance. Everything else was great though and especially Suzie McAdams' performance as Lauren. She was playing Nicola the last time I saw the show and she was equally good. There were really long applauses after Charlie's and Lola's 2nd act solos, and I noticed a few muck-ups but I don't know the show that well to point them out. Overall a great last matinee but I wish I had seen the evening show instead.

For those who weren't there, full recording of the end of "Just Be", the Curtain Call and Speeches on the final show.

So the full audio of the final show has appeared on YouTube, and I have to say, whilst it's lovely the cast had a great send off, it doesn't sound like the ideal for a closing night. There was cheering throughout the entire show it seems, even during the spoken bits, but like, during lines. And then songs like Everybody Say Yeah, Sex is in The Heel and Just Be, whoever recorded this, as well as other audience members, it sounds like it turned into kareoke as there was people singing along with the cast throughout too. I thought the mentality is to treat it as a regular performance but show the love where appropriate?

I really hope we see Jordan Fox in another show soon. He was such a great Charlie and I saw an Instagram video over the weekend of him singing a song from the show - his voice really is amazing.

I think they will wait for the UK tour to finish before they decide to screen it in cinemas here.
