Dale’s had 4 full Charlie shows this year and I believe one was given to him as a scheduled show, so there’s hope that Jonathon will also get a show. Saying that all of the second covers were lucky and had the chance to go on this year. Hoping Jemal gets a few more Lola shows this coming year as well, he was fab when I saw him back in January.
Adding to the list of covers Olivia Winterflood is second cover Nicola (with Suzie McAdam staying as 1st cover) and I believe Hannah Price is second cover Lauren (again with Suzie staying as first cover)

Jonathan will probably be the first Charlie that looks at least the same age as Lauren too! Because other than Verity, I would say the Lauren's have looked young 20's, and all the Charlies have looked late 20's or early 30's. Whereas Jonathan looks alot younger than most of the other Charlies.

So we now know the line of Charlies for the next year will be: Oliver Thompsett Jordan Fox Jonathan Charleston I really hope Jonathan gets some dates. I want to see all three, but as I've said, Jordan is one of the best understudies I've ever seen so he is definitely getting me back to the show! who is this Jonathan? I do not see him in the cast announcement? |

I've not booked as I'm planning on dayseating for it instead I considered dayseating but I remember for the first cast change, people queued from 10pm the previous night and the queue was full by 5am and I can't make it that early! I don't want to risk it so I splashed out for full price the row behind. |

Judging by this, the cast are indeed signed on for another year, so the intention is indeed to run another year. Which would take it to over 3 and a half years in London.

Speaking of Natalie, I wonder if she will be asked to cover up her tattoos for the role? She has loads, particularly a large one on her chest which obvoously won't be an issue costume wise for Kinky Boots, but she has two large one on her legs which for the final outfit will obviously stand out. So i wonder if those ones anyway will be covered up? Lauren has never screamed tattoos to me, but it will probably not be an issue.

Kirstin Maldonado just played the role on Broadway and while her photoshoot pictures didn’t seem to have visible tattoos she didn’t have them covered while on stage - at least according to curtain call and backstage photos. |

I think it depends, because you always see small tattoos on performers and in shows set in normal kind of places like Kinky Boots, I don't think it would really matter. My main thought, as you say, is just because Natalie's are so prominent on her legs. I was thinking back, and with Wonderland and Wicked her legs, arms and chest were never prominently out for them to be visable, so this I think would be the first example where it has come into my mind. That said, shes stunning and the tattoos based on her Instagram are beautiful so I don't care regardless haha. |

I'm sure I recall her saying she was made to cover the ones on her leg during Wonderland, as she's got one on or around her knee that would have been visible otherwise. I;m not 100% on that one though. Given Kinky is one of those 'normal' shows, I don't feel it'll be that much of an issue but given the extent of her tattoos I can also see her being asked to cover them. Though if she's made to cover those on her legs I can also see her having to cover the one on her arm, she's got a skull that covers a significant part of her upper inner arm.
