Heard that they are now looking for 'names' for Charlie on both the tour and in London. Shame if true as I was really hoping Jordan would get his shot at full time Charlie. Matt Cardle is looking like a distinct possibility for London. What date does David Hunter finish? Not been since Killian but saw David in Once and would quite like to revisit Kinky before he goes! Thanks. New cast start 4th June.

I wouldn't mind Matt at all. In fact i always thought he could get the role. I honestly thought he was fantastic in Memphis, certainly a lot better than most 'stunt' casting.

Last date for this cast is June 2nd. I agree I wouldn’t mind Matt getting the role, he’s proved himself to be a worthy candidate I feel. I’d love for Jordan to get the chance to be Charlie full time on the tour though.

Duncan is in Hollyoaks now. And anyway he's totally wrong.

Duncan is in Hollyoaks now. And anyway he's totally wrong. He's being written out pretty soon as his storyline is coming to an end (I feel so ashamed for knowing this....) so in theory he'd be available. He's wrong for it though I completely agree.

Ugh, please not Duncan, I very much doubt he could sing it from previous experience seeing him. I'd be happy with Matt Cardle though, he was a very pleasant surprise in Memphis.
Noel Sullivan, anyone? He's the name that's dragged out for lots of the youngish tenor roles, and I did enjoy him in Rock of Ages. Less so in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, but the less said about that show the better imo.

Anyone have any idea when they are releasing the next batch of tickets? I'm wanting to book for August but the booking period looks like it's only up to July, although I could have sworn I read they had extended just the other day.

Went last night for second time, whilst some plot problems I had absolute ball (great audience) & Jordan Fix was beyond fantastic as ‘Charlie’ such a good understudy!!

Oh I hadn't realised Charlie was an understudy - he was great, loved his voice. And I agree the audience were really good - really responsive and respectful where needed!

Darius??
Matt Cardle couldn't save Memphis... Why do they think he could save Kinky Boots? They should get Lee Mead or Danny Baine LOLOLOL

Does it need saving? Btw Memphis was closing regardless of who they got for those last few months.

Just seen that Dale Evans (2nd Cover) is on as Charlie Price tonight for his first full performance. Can't wait to see him in action!

Dale has done a complete performance before? But he did take over mid way last night. I'm debating going, I'd really like to see his take on Charlie but I don't know if I can justify paying over £35 for travel plus the ticket cost on top. times like this I really wish I did live in London

Jordan Fox is an amazing Charlie Price - he's the best understudy in the West End at the moment. I really hope he gets the lead on the KB tour, as he really deserves it.

Does anyone know who leaves the show in june? And when? Final date for the current cast is 2nd June. I know Verity Rushworth is leaving but she's the only one that's (to my knowledge) confirmed that they're leaving

Yes, it's not just the cost of the show if you live 100 miles away is it? I've just had an email from Encore tickets offering discount tickets for KB with a potential saving of over £30 if that's any help?
