Whats happening on the 18th March? Just seen they are doing a Sunday performance at 7pm which is already sold out? A special show? Its not to replace a midweek, as all 8m0 shows are being performed as usual that week. It isn't Kinky Boots you plum, it's Moein Live in Concert!  Moein appears to be an Iranian singer. Thats so dodgy, because its on the Kinky Boots official website. If it wasnt sold out on the website, some idiot will go on there and book thinking its Kinky Boots! |

Do we think the show will start going down the stunt casting route in the West End? It’s obviously worked pretty well on Broadway but it could be a way to rejuvenate London audiences too.

I was there tonight and it was almost completely sold out again - it really does seem to be selling well still. If sales start to drop, then they may stunt cast one of the lead roles. I can see someone like Matt Cardle in the Charlie Price.

I think the show is actually doing okay at the moment off its own back, though should sales start to nosedive it wouldn't surprise me if they went down that route. That said, by the time the next cast change rolls around it'll be almost time for the tour to start, so if sales have nosedived I would think they'd just close it. |

Another thing I picked up on last time I went, there was no black Angels on so I'm guessing this guy was their cover, but there was one Angel who was alot taller and, no disrespect, would not "pass" at all. I mean, all of the other Angels are hot as female, and i'm sure this guy is hot out of drag, and he didn't look bad, but he just looked "different" compared to the other Angels.

Whilst I don’t think he is much taller than the rest of the angels he is a lot more ‘built’ for lack for a better word. The black angel (Jemal) is tall but beautiful as a woman and has the greatest set of pins I’ve seen. Enough to make a lot of us girls jealous |

I have nothing but love for Kinky Boots. It was fabulous in NYC with the OBC and it was just as fabulous here in the West End this afternoon. Such a sweet and heartwarming show. Lola killed it and I can't get over how endearing your Charlie is, played by David Hunter. What a perfect casting! Best behaved crowd of the week too, mostly women... 😉

Did anyone go mon tues this week friends of mine went on my recommendation as I’ve been 5 times and love it ..... they said singing was very ropey at times and off key ... which shocked me as it’s always been 100% when I’ve gone ?
