I hope that Callum Francis will be available to take it on tour as Lola. I’m not sure what the plan is for KB in Australia now... He was fantastic when I saw him last year in London.

Can't believe I'm actually considering buying tickets for the tour on Monday. I don't mean that in a negative way, I was always planning on seeing the show when it comes to Bristol, I just mean its well over a year until it's actually in Bristol and I never buy tickets that far in advance (with the exception of Hamilton). Kinky Boots is one of my favourite shows so I'm hoping ticket prices will be reasonable and not overly excessive so I can justify seeing it a couple of times

Dynamic pricing (or simply price increases) are becoming more and more popular on U.K. tours these days, so I think you're absolutely right ensembleswings - however cheap (or not) the prices are on Monday, they're only going to get more expensive as the show gets closer! |

So glad it’s going on tour but is it me or tickets in general outpricing many  Birmingham rep new ticket pricing structure I was gobsmacked recently even very back for nativity were £££££ Now kinky in Wolverhampton £52.50 Think cheapest are around £25 but some are listening seats only ?? ! I bought some great seats at Adelphi recently for £35. Perfect and of course the great day seats .... but regional tickets are going up and up outpricing many of us |

Perfect and of course the great day seats .... but regional tickets are going up and up outpricing many of us Same in Sunderland, the tickets for a lot of shows are on par with West End, the main difference being there's no discounts available on the day and so actually more expensive. Over £50 for upper circle seats for both Miss Saigon/Matilda. Comparable seats for Matilda in London £2.50 cheaper. No wonder the place is always half empty |

We do seem to be relatively lucky with Bristol, majority of tours seem to have some form of 'cheap seats' - usually £20 or under (ok they may be the back of the upper circle but it's something) I'd much rather sit in the stalls though, so hopefully pricing will be fair. It pains me but I'll book tickets this year just so I can hopefully take advantage of the early bird offer that they usually offer.
Sensible for this to go with a two show Friday (5pm & 8:30pm) rather than a midweek matinee I feel, at least that's what they're doing in Bristol, presume that's the pattern for the rest of the tour as well? Friday's will definitely sell better in my opinion

In fairness to the Hippodrome, I don't think they're the worst out there. No premium seats for example. Their cheapest seats are usually far too expensive though, as is sadly a common theme across the touring circuit. Although the Hipp (and many other independent venues) do offer reasonable concessions - e.g. £15 tickets for under 25s for most of their musicals. £5 for panto, ballet and opera. But yes, I accept your pint with the general state of regional pricing these days. |

Oooh comen in now guys. Come on now. Just got out of the show after winning the lottery, Jesus this is such a damn good show. Its one of those shows that annoys me when people say they don't like it. How?! Glitter, fabulousness, drag queens, a great score, what's not to like?! Urgh so good it hurts! And the audience in the full house were on it today. Standing ovation, entrance applause for Lola whenever an outfit changed, fabulous! I think some of us may be underestimating the popularity of this bitch, it could still have a bit of a lifespan left in it yet!  |

I won't lie, I'm rather jealous right now danieljohnson14 the amount of times I've entered and lost that lottery is quite frankly ridiculous. I do agree with you though, every time I've seen the show recently the theatre has been close to full and there has been a great atmosphere, even midweek. I'm hopefully it can continue to have a life in London whilst also touring |

I wanna write some more thoughts for the bants... So like I said before, I won the lottery, and was surprised to see that you are still in front row but you get a physical ticket rather than how it used to be, getting a code to be scanned straight from TodayTix! How long has that been going on?! Anyway, I love the show, always have. This was my first time seeing this cast, as well as first time seeing David Hunter as his understudy has been on whenever I went when he was in. I'll say it, he is my favourite of the Charlies I have seen (Killian and Paul being the others!). He is just so fun, got a great voice, a real sass toward the end, and his smile is just infectious! Simon, I thought, was amazing as Lola! Wow. He made it completely his own, he isn't "doing" Matt and it completely works. He sings and dances his ass off in those heels liks it was his final performance, just a dream! I was also pleasently surprised by Verity, who was hilarious I thought. Of the three lead Laurens, she is probably the one who sticks to the score the most. She didn't do anything too weird and out there haha. Rest of the cast, a dream! House was full, with a responsive audience as always giving a standing ovation at the end. Ita just one of those shows where you have so much fun and you can forget your troubles along the way. I can't wait to go back! |

Tour prices for Bristol seem reasonable enough.
£63, £50, £41, £31 ,£19.50 - Mon-Thurs & Fri matinee
£70, £56.50, £43, £32.50, £19.50 - Fri eve & Sat
Stalls have seats in the top three prices brackets.
Grand Circle have all except £19.50.
Upper Circle have seats in the lowest three price brackets.
Just the standard £10 off opening night, £5 off midweek shows for ATG card holders. Was expecting prices to be worse so I'm happy enough

Whats happening on the 18th March? Just seen they are doing a Sunday performance at 7pm which is already sold out? A special show? Its not to replace a midweek, as all 8m0 shows are being performed as usual that week.
