Xanadu would go down a bomb in Manchester. Hope Mill or Royal Exchange, either is fine. Thank you!

My answer will always be Martin Guerre, but I'd also like to throw some more realistic wishes out there for LSOH & Avenue Q.

Another vote for ‘Tommy’ here. I remember it as one of the most vital and uplifting shows of my theatre going life…we spent so much time in the Shaftesbury in the 90’s we actually owe them some rent still. I’d say that I’d like to see the Hope Mill ‘Rent’ revived but I think its too linked to lockdown to work outside of its time.

I'd love to see Urinetown come back as it was a bonkers musical, and please with Richard Fleishman again.

I'd really like to see Toxic Avenger at Hope Mill / Royal Exchange. I loved it at the Southwark Playhouse when it played there.

Just based off enjoying the cast recordings I would love to see The Baker's Wife, Woman of the Year and Pippin

Oh yes I missed that sadly due to not being near London then. Would love Chichester or another venue to do a large scale production of it as that could be magnificent.

Sunset Blvd starring Catherine Zeta Jones and Hadley Fraser or Ramin Karimloo and a set closer to the original
Disneys Beauty and the beast (a production closer to the sumptuous original)
Sunday in the park with George starring Emma Williams and Hadley Fraser
Martin Guerre at somewhere like Chichester, Old Vic or even Menier.

A Little Night Music at the ENO, with Ruth Wilson as Desiree.
Thanks.

I love me a classic.
A full Showboat would be a joy. I remember the Opera North tour 30 years ago with huge fondness and the score is a joy.
A big production of Kiss Me, Kate would be very welcome. Great score, once again and plenty of cracking dialogue.
A more modern choice for me would still be Kiss of the Spiderwoman. Brilliant and heartbreaking show.

After getting myself accustomed with the Guys and Dolls score this past year or so in preparation for The Bridge production, I've also been listening to other Loesser shows and I would love a proper revival of The Most Happy Fella, but I think it'll probably never happen.

I’m absolutely adore TMHF… sadly I don’t think we will get a revival of it anytime soon. It’s a gorgeous score

Sunset Blvd starring Catherine Zeta Jones and Hadley Fraser or Ramin Karimloo and a set closer to the original Hmm that one would be interesting but the men are too old. They'd look the same age as Norma and Joe is supposed to be about 20 years her junior.

They'd look the same age as Norma and Joe is supposed to be about 20 years her junior. I do agree that they are both probably too old now (but don't agree that they look in their 50s!!) But I think both are so perfect for Joe I can't let that idea go lol Sadly CZJ with the work she's had done I'm not sure would be as good for Norma now as her face barely moves. But, it's still a dream revival I wish had happened
