Hurrah. One I want to see. But I am cautious as I found Spelling Bee to be nice and Sunshine to be terrible. But positive thoughts and all that!

Yes! Been wanting it to appear over here for ages. Perfect venue for it too. Very exciting news 🎉

YESSSSSSS YESSSSSS YESSSSS
I squeaked. I cried. All in a coffee shop. I have zero shame.
Now if someone can convince Christian Borle he wants to spend a few months in London I'd be HELLA grateful.

Definitely signing up to get info on when this goes on sale! Damn, I was convinced you're H. Unless it's a double bluff. 😉

I'd ask "who is H?" but I expect you'd be more likely to take that as evidence of subterfuge rather than give me a straight answer...

Sell a door are really taking off aren't they, so many productions this year.
And they seem to have a keen eye on bringing over some Broadway shows that haven't made it to the UK yet.
Well done them.
The only thing is this year is becoming packed and my bank balance and time off don't want to cooperate with so many shows!!!

I dont know anything about this show but it does sound interesting.
On a slightly different note. When ALW bought The Other Palace didn't he say it would be to showcase new British writing and shows and yet they seem to be putting on a lot of American stuff recently. Or did I read it wrong?

I watched this on BroadwayHD, am I the only one not at all interested in seeing this? I found it very hard to get into and really didn't enjoy watching it.

Will give Carl Woodward credit with announcing this one a few months ago.
Very VERY exciting! Naturally listening to the cast recording all day - and can I dream cast Louise Dearman as Trina already?

I love Falsettos so i’ll see it regardless, but I really do hope they get a great cast for this!

Slightly odd to announce this with zero creative team listed, isn't it?

can I dream cast Louise Dearman as Trina already? Its never too early to dream cast on Theatreboard! 😜 I actually don’t see Dearman being right for Trina. My immediate thought was Jodie Jacobs as Charlotte, but I’m not sure if that role is normally cast as a woman of colour? If so, I’d go for Rachel John. Another thought: Suzie Mathers as Cordelia?

I had the same experience, in fact don't think I made it all the way to the end. Still will try to make time for this, I've been won over in the past when seeing a show in person.

I did watch the whole thing but wondered what I seemed to be missing as I was sure I'd heard amazing things about it. I am sure that seeing it in person would make a difference but at the moment I doubt I will unless casting makes me want to go.

Very keen to know the creative team as it's a piece which could be completely ruined in the wrong hands. I mean most things could - but there's something about this which means getting the balance between pathos and humour spot on - and not slipping into being too earnest or mawkish.
Could this be the reason that Laura Pitt-Pulford is only doing the Arcola run of Little Miss Sunshine? It's the same producer and she's currently playing a role created in New York by Stephanie J Block - and despite reading as a tad too young (or maybe I'm too old) she'd act and sing the part very well. And please can we have Damien Humbley as Marvin.

My number one choice, pretty much for everything, would be Rebecca Trehearn - again maybe a tad too young - but her I'm Breaking Down would be off the scale.

Don't really know the songs or storyline but have seen loads of clips on Instagram from time to time and would be very interested to see this!
Wonder if Baz will have some casting soon?
And let's hope it's not Heathers prices- from the BWay run it looked like a load of blocks- is that the norm for this show? I don't know what other productions have looked like.
