Yeah I’m in. Daniel Boys is gonna break my heart in to about 800 pieces with all of Act 2. LPP will be hysterical and heart breaking. Oliver will just be his normal beautiful self.
Can’t wait - bring in first preview!

Great cast especially pleased about Daniel Boys. Just need to find an aisle seat now as the legroom in that place is a nightmare.

No former Pussycat Doll or member of Girls Aloud? Meh, count me out. On a serious note, I wasn't going to book for this but may have to now.

Seems Matt is well and truly in the theatre world now. There was a time after Memphis where it seemed he might not do a show again.

Look out for high levels of checker-board-style in the design for this show!

Look out for high levels of checker-board-style in the design for this show! Are they re-using part of chess' set? Hope this set is quite nice- sometimes selladoor's sets is what let's a production down for me! I'm fussy!

Must say I’m very impressed that he will be opening this show 6 days after finishing Jesus Christ Superstar. Very excited about seeing this show, also my first time doing to The Other Palace? Any fun facts about the venue anyone?

I don't know about *fun* facts, but be aware that the stairs in the auditorium are really steep, don't rush up or down them. Also there's a door near the front on the high numbers side that it can be easier to leave from when the way back to the main entrance door (at the back on the low numbers side) is ridiculously crowded after the show, and there are more toilets down that corridor than can be found on the ground floor in the bar area too.

Though sometimes the staff stop you from going that way, which is a bit of a pain

Yes, i can vouch for the steep stairs! Ridiculous for a new venue really.

Don't know if this still applies but when I went to the St James (as it used to be) for Urinetown, as an early visitor to the ladies toilets when no one else was in there, I opened the doors and the motion sensor lights came on, and so did all the motion sensor taps! It was quite alarming really!

Been listening to the soundtrack the last few days. It's a real oddity and I cant figure what's going on but I'm sure it will all make sense when I see it.

I found the story very confusing just listening to it the first couple times which I found especially odd since I knew it was sung-through so I shouldn't be missing anything but seeing it play out definitely helped my understanding (and I think Act 2 is a lot clearer than 1 since it's more of a narrative than the first as a lot of that is dedicated to introducing the characters and their dynamic).

Matt Cardle has withdrawn from the show. He will be replaced by Joel Montague.

Sounds like he just had trouble doing both! Hmm, I had booked a second night, I wonder if they'll do refunds.
