Not even Mandy Musicals Holden! How would you rate Ms. Holden as a musical theatre actress? I couldn’t possibly comment.

Guy just sung You will be found on BGT and none of the judges had ever heard the song before. Ooh what a niche choice

Even ‘Memory’ in front of an LCD approximation of the ‘Wicked’ set like the guy the other day.

He really was quite good. Sad really that you have someone with that talent not able to break into MT and then you get to watch the Joseph train wreck that was on BGT tonight Quite often you find the runners up and non-winners of these kinda programmes doing better long-term than the winners who get their 5 seconds of fame but fizzle away quickly. I dare say agents and casting directors now maybe aware of him and this could be the kind of exposure break he needs to get an agent, who knows maybe when the appeal of DEH softens after a year or so they'll cast him to give it a boost.

Are Previews of DEH on October 29, 30 & 31 still going ahead? These dates are no longer listed on the show's website or Delfont Mackintosh and I can't remember whether there were just evening performances? I currently have a ticket for November 1 as part of my trip to London, but I am considering rearranging my plans so I can return home in time to see Anthony Warlow in a 25th Anniversary concert of Jekyll & Hyde on November 2 in Sydney. I would need to depart London on October 30 and so that would only leave me with the the possibility of seeing DEH on October 29. What do you think my chances would be of getting a ticket for that first preview performance?

They've been removing performances that are sold out, which is why if you look at November on the Delfont Macintosh website it looks like they're only doing shows on the 18th, 21st, 27th and 29th. October 29th is still listed as the opening date on the website. DEAR EVAN HANSEN 29TH OCTOBER 2019 - 7TH MARCH 2020 www.delfontmackintosh.co.uk/tickets/dear-evan-hansen/

As a straw poll,I have been to an awful lot of student and am-dram revues/showcases over the last six months and a variety of songs from DEH are cropping up everywhere. As much as Hamilton and Showman,I would say.I reckon this could be a real stonker of a hit when it lands especially if the masses are starting to buy into the popularity of the songs.

They have a lot of marketing to go before it's known to the masses and the ad they play on Capital Radio is a great start. The instrumental of Waving Through A Window was played on The Voice Kids a few weeks back, during the contestant' s intro.

When do we think there will be a cast announcement?

I’ve just seen on Twitter that someone has put they were sitting next to a 21 year old guy on a plane who just got cast in DEH west end! Not sure how true it is but I’m excited to see who’s been cast, surely it can’t be long until we find out now!

So they 'casted' him on the plane ride back home. We really are two countries separated by a common language!

Bwaha. That twitter feed. As reliable a source as West End Wilma.

This source is hardly credible. I'll only believe stuff tweeted by official sources such as Baz and WOS.

Jeez, no one is even saying it's true, just sharing what's been said.

I took that to mean he received an email from his agent, whilst he was on the plane, telling him he'd got the part.
I doubt the creative team met up on a plane and held his final audition there.

Kids use words loosely now, so 'just' could mean in the last week or in the last month. They could have got talking, him mentioning he'd recently been cast. We'll find out soon enough, depending on whether there's a ginger cast member.

I think her tweet is just badly written, and means she sat next to a boy from London on the plane ride back home, who just got cast in Dear Evan Hansen. So I don't think he was literally cast or received the news whilst in the air.
But who knows whether it's true or not.
