There were still plenty of £35 seats for January dates when I looked around an hour ago.

£35 for really crap seats. No thanks. The greed is real.

It was one hell of a day for booking! An absolute nightmare from my end. Queued for 90 minutes (after the email came half an hour late....) and then got thrown out. 2 and a half hours later (a total of 4 HOURS) I got in. Thankfully picked up the £35 grand circle seats I wanted for the Thursday night I fancied, so all good. But that was unnecessarily stressful. The Delfont Mackintosh website needs a better server.

I think their website is one of the best! I would agree. Once you were in you could move around all of the dates searching for what you needed.

I think their website is one of the best! So do I normally! But after the LEs Mis concert and this, it's had two on the trot that have been really difficult!

I think anything that is incredibly popular will always be hard going to book. It’s the same everywhere- Donmar, NT, Ticketmaster..

I found that Hamilton's system ran way smoothly. Their interface/server can handle more traffic it seems.
Even when buying for Matilda at my local, ATG used Queue-It which was fine and had no dramas, despite initially being 1,547th in the queue. (it moved quickly, and I got in within 20 mins)

I got my booking link at 11.59 and accessed the booking page instantly. Was hoping to book tickets as a post Christmas treat. However booking only appeared to be until 21st December. I have just noticed it now seems to be until mid January, but the Saturday I selected is now sold out. Does anyone know why these tickets were unavailable to begin with?

Initially they meant to sell to 21 Dec only. I guess the huge demand took them by surprise and so they extended to mid January later to give everyone stuck in the queue for hours a chance to actually book tickets.

I gave up, as I'm local I can hope for a single seat to be favourably dynamically priced, short notice, nearer the time.

Are we done here? Sorry, I had a major interview and missed all the madness. How did we do? Is it sold out?

Wowzer. I picked up two tickets approximately where I wanted on my first choice date 40 minutes into the booking yesterday. Just had a little look just now and it is very picked over. A lot dates showing no online booking or very limited.
This demonstrates how much I don't have my finger on the pulse of things. I thought that this might be popular (thus why I signed up for the priority booking) but nowhere near this fast-selling. I under-estimated the hardcore musical fans' enthusiasm as well as its teen-appeal.

The only performance for which I could find a decent stalls seat was Thurs 2 January 7.30pm when I'm already booked to see Les Mis in Cardiff. Amazed how quickly this has sold.
Anyone looking for a single seat check out that date asap !

There were about a half a dozen stalls and dress circle rows not on sale yesterday during DMT+ priority. I wonder if they were put on later, or if they are still held back for April. I think they must have held some back or when it goes on general sale in April it wouldn't look good if there was literally nothing at all for a couple of months.

Noel Coward Theatre has had dayseats for every show as far back as I can remember, often the front row. DEH do a digital lottery on Broadway so would imagine the same here. The last few shows have all done it through TodayTix here.
I think it will have a very good run. Interesting how well it's sold during previews already compared to Waitress/Come From Away. I'm surprised Waitress didn't do the same and go down the "smaller" venue route.

I just scrolled through the dates again and managed to book a central row B stalls seat on 28 November. Absolutely delighted. Glad now I was away in Wales yesterday seeing other shows.
There were two seats together and I didn't think the booking system would let me buy only one but no problem.
I do like the way the DMT booking website is set up. Takes seconds to look through performances and check different seating areas.

I just rang and spoke to them and they still aren’t sure if row B will be first or second row so there may well be more seats come up once they know.

Here are 3 clips of songs from Ben Platt's new album "Sing to me Instead" out at the end of March.

'Ease My Mind' is the one that caused all the fuss because he's in love with like, A MAN in it! Apparently, little puppy dog Benny publicly came out as gay recently. Who'd have thunk it? Ben and Snap!

To be fair to little Benny, I don't think he really needed to talk about it for us to know. Bless his little puppy dog heart.
