They do £20 day seats at the box office. That’s great to hear. Do you know where these seats are and how many they have? My friend and I want to go and try for a Saturday matinee end of February. We are arriving early so going to the box office when it opens or even before shouldn’t be a problem. I would love to sit in the stalls for this as I’ve always been in the royal or grand circle. But stalls tickets are very expensive for that day... If you go around 8.30 you'll probably be fine, usually the matinee is not as popular as the evening.

This doesn’t seem to be selling great. Lots of seats available for this week, but pretty expensive for stall seats. Do they do any offers closer to the performance or reduce prices? Was hoping it would be on TodayTix rush to get the word out there.

The stage is pretty high though! I was just wondering about that. I saw Rock of Ages once from the front row and that was horrible. We were barely able to see anything. But I don’t remember if that was at the Shaftesbury or after the move. I was kind of hoping it was after... 🙈 Well maybe there will be other offers closer to showtime.

They do seem to be dynamic pricing on this, dropping the prices a day or so in advance online. They had back of stalls tickets for less than £30 when I checked on the day a couple of weeks back. Definitely worth just going to the BO on the day.

Yes agreed,and if a booking is extended by alot it's often a sign a show is in trouble and trying to attract an advance and give the impression of it being a hit. this obviously doesnt apply to your long runners, but newer shows it's often not a good sign

A theatre can be full without a lot of people paying much (if anything) for their tickets... There are tons of tickets left for this week, and yet they aren’t discounting on the usual outlets. I’m signed up to the “not paying much (if anything)” sites also, and nothing going on there. So I wonder how it’s ending up full. I doubt they’re selling all these remaining tickets on the day through walk ups to the Box Office.

WOW! I can only really echo the rest of the raves on this board. I went in with such low expectations and expected to laugh at the shambles of it all, but I did the complete opposite. This show was phenomenal!!!
Went to the box office Tuesday around 7:15pm to see if I could get an under 25s ticket, I had seen online there was plenty of seats left. The lady at the box office was lovely and charged me for a grand circle seat, £20.50, and put me in stalls L19, right on the aisle. A perfect view of the stage and slap bang in the centre.
It did take a while for me to warm to it, but after about 30 minutes I was hooked, I was watching in awe of how good it was! I think it works as the piece knows what it is, it does not take it self seriously, if it did it might have been a different story. The ensemble chatting to the audience pre-show, the 4th wall constantly being broken, among other things are what lets this show work, and IMO become a success.
There has been a lot of money thrown at production, and it pays off. There really isn't an expense spared on nothing! Something I love to see!
The cast were great, but no surprises Cassidy Janson was the standout! 'That's the way it is' was my favourite song in the show and she sang the crap out of it, was quite emotional actually. Not only this, but she was hilarious, closely followed by Melanie La Barrie as the Nurse. Miriam was in great voice as Juliet, this is a big sing, and if she's singing like that every night I can easily see how her voice my be tired or strained by the end of the week. It wouldn't be a bad idea having an alternate, but if she's holding up then that's a testament to her!
The sets were great, and I loved hearing how the synth heavy pop music had been re-orchastrated to something quite string heavy which I enjoyed.
You have to go in and take this how it is, don't expect some life-changing show, but just 2hr 30mins of pure joy from start to finish.
This really ought to become the next Mamma Mia, but think it needs some more marketing and a big boost in sales. A few TV spots and some fresh posters with songs listed on might help. It deserves to have a long healthy run, but I think sales need to pick up a touch! Although it was Tuesday there were quite a few empty seats towards the back. I didn't see the grand circle, but I imagine that was quite quiet.
With such a strong score, and some amazing performances in this wacky storyline it's impossible not to love every second of it! I can't wait to return!

I was seriously contemplating going back tonight! Don't think I've ever wanted to see a show again so quickly!! I can't stop playing a few songs on the recording!!
Think I'm going to rally a couple friends up and going mid-week next week!
I just want to see this show do well, it is so deserving.

Are we getting a bit of a return culture vibe for &J? I’ve seen it 3 times now! First time I saw it I really enjoyed it so without being completely blown away, but it’s such a feel good show without being pretentious that you can’t help but be swept along with it!

There are some scenes of drama. But don't expect anything like 'The Ferryman' think more soap opera drama. You have to go into this knowing that it's just some light fun! I absolutely adored the show and I definitely want to see it again as soon as I can, brilliant stuff. I was really only interested thinking it would be in 'so bad its good' territory but I genuinely think it was fantastic all round.

How early do you need to be there for day seats for this? Before 8am Saturday, by 8.30am midweek outside school holidays. It hasn’t gone unnoticed that a certain person 🐒 🍌 hasn’t been to see &Juliet yet....
