Is Matt Lucas confirmed as Thénardier then? When did that happen? See: Page 1, Post 1

What a dilemma for poor Alfie Boe. Does he hang with new bezzie, Michael Ball, or previous bezzie, Matt Lucas?

I think I’d be quite happy to let our tickets go if anyone wants them. Sat night 31st Aug. DM me if interested. Front circle with a slight restricted view. Move this mods if not appropriate but they were a steal so I’d rather pass that on to a fan.

So we’re waiting for Marius, Cosette and Mrs T?
I’d be surprised if Olivia Colman wasn’t one of the above. If not all three.

I was too late jumping on the bandwagon as initially wasn't sure but now I want to go and have gone through every date Ball and Boe are on and can only find an odd ticket at £177 nothing else at all. Al well as they say "you snooze, you lose"

That’s one of the roles that hasn’t been announced yet, along with Marius, Cosette and Enjolras.

Drama, I hope they didn’t change it just because I mentioned I’d rather see John Owen Jones:
We are writing to inform you that Alfie Boe will no longer be performing in LES MISÉRABLES: THE ALL-STAR STAGED CONCERT on the date you have booked for.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
John Owen-Jones will now be performing as Jean Valjean at this performance and Alfie Boe will be performing all five shows earlier in the week.
The schedule for that week is now as follows:
Monday 28 October - Alfie Boe Tuesday 29 October - Alfie Boe Wednesday 30 October (matinee and evening) - Alfie Boe Thursday 31 October - Alfie Boe Friday 1 November - John Owen-Jones Saturday 2 November (matinee and evening) - John Owen-Jones
Michael Ball and the rest of the cast are all scheduled to appear as normal for these performances.
If you are still happy to attend the current performance you have booked for then you do not need to to take any further action, but we wanted to give you the option to make changes to your booking if you now wish to do so.
Your current booking details are as follows:
You have booked to see the show on Saturday, 2nd November 2019 at 14:30:00

A lady has replied to Alfie's tweet saying that 'John Owen Jones isn't a patch on you' even though John is tagged in the tweet... she's asking for trouble!

So will this and the new production at the Queen's after be considered for the Olivier's next year? Because both of them are new productions of Les Mis?

They won't be as disappointed as the person I saw on Facebook who said they were seeing Carrie Fisher as Fantine!

indis,it may be that the producers think it will sell-out on the ‘names’ already announced and the ‘lesser’ roles don’t need to be announced yet?

No. A show has to disappear from London for a specific amount of time before the next production can be considered a revival. Well technically Les Mis, the show, closes. A concert version then runs, at a different theatre, until the new Les Mis show opens 4 months later. I guess it probably has to be considered in years for a show to be applicable for revival, but still Les Mis the show does close for a specific period of time.
