Three theatres being empty isn't news. The Savoy, Prince Edward and Palace were dark for a while between shows doesn't mean the West End is in crisis. I assume announcements will come in due course. If it is recent, those theatres had shows lined up.

Looks like we are going to have the Phoenix, Noel Coward and Trafalgar Studio empty soon. Brexit reaction? Please would you expand on this hypothesis? Who has reacted? And why? If Brexit has saved the people of London from an outdated musical, perhaps Boris deserves praise? If anything, weak sterling should mean more international audiences in the short-term, particularly from Europe.

Nothing is usually announced around now but I don't think anything has been confirmed for Phoenix yet (what I heard from an ATG box office anyway). If something goes there then I presume it'll be from around October maybe? Not sure about Noel Coward though - maybe a play transfer?

Noel Coward is Half a Sixpence but I'm guessing they'll announce it nearer the end of the run Trafalgar is being taken over by Howard Panter and Rosemary Squire so maybe they're doing a refurb before they announce anything

There's something from Edinburgh going into the Trafalgar Studios until the end of September. Magic show?

Sixpence is Noel Coward and I remember Baz tweeting that Ross was looking at the Phoenix.
Seeing as how they're both Chichester shows, perhaps they'll announce them together?

Shame if that is true about Ross mind you I'm also still hoping An Enemy of the People may still transfer from Chichester too...

There's a chance Strife may transfer from Chichester (not a musical, sorry). Any ideas where it might go?
I'm still hoping for an Enemy of the People transfer, too.

I thought that The Naked Magicians featured Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter nineteen years on.

I thought that The Naked Magicians featured Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter nineteen years on. No, that's in one of those 'other' Soho establishments that feature live performance. Technically West End I guess...

It's The Last Tango going into to Phoenix, 22 September to 3 December. Perhaps a Christmas filler could go in or it extend.

It can't extend as the two leads are doing panto.

Ooo interesting. Yeah it can't extend due to the panto commitments. I presume the theatre will be dark over actual Christmas though as The Girls goes there in January so no point putting another show there.
I think this is a good last minute filler though to be honest

I know for a fact that the artsy Stage Adaptation of An American in Paris is on it's way to the West End for 2017 with original cast leads Robert Fairchild (London theatre scene debut) and Leanne Cope. It's sooo exciting! Hamilton too for 2017!

It's sooo exciting! Hamilton too for 2017! Welcome to the board! Glad that 'The Last Tango' is getting a small west end run. If you have a chance to see it, it's beautiful. One of their other shows 'Midnight Tango' remains one of my favourite things I've worked on.

Could ATG maybe put something like a kids show to run for 4 weeks when last tango ends over actual Christmas holidays? Like Peppa Pig or Gangsta Granny? Could Do well in the Xmas holidays before The Girls opens
