Surprised that the Mother hasn't transferred to the Wyndham, as it sold better at the Tricycle than the Father did, I found this a harder ticket to get. I be surprised if the Wyndham is dark until September, Delfont Mackintosh art adapt at getting in shows quickly, look how fast Good People came in, after The Full Monty tanked. It could even mean something like Let It Be comes in (did I really say that), as a stopgap. Gina McKee isn't available, as she's doing Faith Healer at the Donmar. The plan, I believe, is to transfer The Mother later in the year/early next year, when she is available. The Truth will be going into the Wyndhams, of that I'm pretty much certain.

I did think about The Truth, it could be a last minute replacement

Also does anybody think any transfers will be announced by Baz tonight? Maybe he'll announce the Wyndhams replacement and also hopefully news of The Girls transfer

By the looks of their tweets recently (and the producer's), I'm guessing that The Girls doesn't have a theatre yet.

Whilst not a musical, Florian Zeller's The Truth will transfer from the Menier Chocolate Factory to the Wyndham's from 22nd June, filling the Lady Day void one presumes! Pretty sure one or more of our posters called that one!

Baz mentioned that Nice Fish which is written by and starring Mark Rylance is coming to London in mid November. Given Rylance has become more famous since Wolf Hall with an Oscar win for Bridge of Spies and he's going to be in The BFG, I expect it'll do very well. theatre hasn't been announced yet

Didn't see this one coming.
Where do you think this will end up?

Didn't see this one coming. Where do you think this will end up? Probably Duke of York's, Vaudeville or even the Harold Pinter. Wyndham's is already booked and I imagine the Noel Coward's next show after Impossible is coming in September since Impossible is only running for a month and a half.

Could Rylance even be going to the Phoenix? Can't imagine Guys and Dolls being extended and he was virtually selling out the Duke of York's with Farinelli and King last year so perhaps an even larger theatre? Just a thought and the dates might match up.

Or indeed the Savoy once Funny Girl finishes?

Or indeed the Savoy once Funny Girl finishes? Dreamgirls is going to the Savoy after Funny Girl. A playhouse is more likely for something like Nice Fish than somewhere like the Phoenix although it did have a play a few years with Goodnight Mr Tom.

Would love some clever genius to start an ongoing pinned message with a list of every theatre, what's playing in it now and next. We could then keep proper track of what's available and when!

The Garrick has its next show lined up with This House. I'm thinking The Duke of York's but the Pinter wouldn't surprise me either.

Hasn't the Duke of York announced a me show for the Autumn?
I would say Noel Coward or maybe Harold Pinter are Sunny Afternoon ticket sales tanking already?

The Dresser is for the Duke of York's for Autumn but no exact dates yet. Firefingers mentioned a few posts back that ATG were looking for a new show for the Pinter when I noticed Sunny Afternoon hadn't until today extended its booking period, it has been discounting recently so I imagine sales have dipped.

The playhouse will be free after 1984 as will the Vaudeville and Duke of Yorks. When's This House booking until?

Both The Vaudeville and Playhouse are free from September but I suspect they'll have shows lined up from September onwards. Duke of York's has The Dresser in the Autumn which makes Nice Fish going there unlikely. The Pinter would make sense date wise if Sunny doesn't extend again

Wonder if Waitress will make the crossing? It is doing fantastic business across the pond and with Sara Baeilles as the composer it could certainly do well. Add to that the show itself is very strong.

I could see Waitress come over late 2017 or early 2018. I think it needs somewhere like the Phoenix, Savoy or Gielgud

Can see Dreamgirls lasting longer than a year at the Savoy & the Phoenix will have a new musical by the end of this year probably. Stilll ol hoping they bring The Color Purple over if it wins at the TONYS!
