Correct me if I'm wrong but performances only cancelled until the 12th which is due to members of the cast testing positive. Then from 12th until 20th its socially distanced and full capacity from then on. So they are cancelling everyone from 1st until 11th as no performances and from 12th will be moving or cancelling people. Those will be the set of dates they will now be working on moving people.

Linzi said on Twitter I think yesterday that her first date is the 17th so I’m hoping they’ve just taken that week off sale fully whilst they try and social distance the seats

Don’t know whether this has been discussed already, but I wonder how Linzi will sound in this after thirty years? I loved her in this. I doubt she’ll sing it the same way now, but I bet she’ll still be fab (even if in a lower key for many songs). Thoughts about her vocals this time around?

I’ve wondered myself if some people’s expectations are maybe a little too high, especially if they are going to go in expecting her to sound like a thirty year old recording. I’m not saying she’ll be bad, just a bit different to how people remember her. I hope she’s not judged harshly as people do have very set ideas of what this show “should” be.

My booking has also been cancelled, voucher sent, with a very tight deadline to use this before 5 September 2021. Of course, the prices have gone up since I booked (right back when this first went on sale)... Such a beacon of customer service...

To be honest I have no expectations as I don't think I have seen her perform the role before. I just wanted to see her as she is quite iconic as Narrator. I think I read that she is going to be performing it a la Sheridan I.e comedy role.

I've got tickets for the 9th July and not heard anything yet. I definitely want a refund for that date. I've spent waaay too much to see this production already.

When you get the e mail with the credit note there is a link you click on I'd you want a refund and just fill on the form. Its all pretty easy. I had the e mail yesterday for the 1st so if doing in date order you should hear soon.

Am going to remain optimistic and not cancel my hotel yet in the hope they may put some back on sale, or alternatively I might try for Cinderella

None of those performances can go on sale now as they’re all oversubscribed as it is!

Just had notification that my ticket for 17th has been cancelled. Was expecting it as it was a single seat but still gutted Hmm so they mustn’t be working in date order as I’m on the 14th and heard nothing. Would like to hear soon as Heathers have offers on TodayTix that I’ll pick up if I get cancelled.

I think that will be good actually cos I’ve seen Linzi in a fair few shows and she is very funny! As for whether she’ll be the same after 30 years - no she won’t be. We all get older and change. Will she still be ace and smash it though? Abso-bloomin-lutley!! 🤩

I booked direct and haven’t heard anything yet. I know I had a lil moan about hoping I hear soon, but I honestly feel like now, tell me I can still go on the 16th and I’ll be there! I’ll drive there and back same day if I have to!

Given the Laurence Connor is directing Joseph and Cinderella, and with both opening around the same time, I wonder how he's splitting his time between both, or if an associate Director is dealing with Joseph, given it's just a remount of his previous production.

In anticipation of your question, Laurence answered it before you'd even asked it! 🙂

Hi everybody - just wanted to pass on a message from the Box Office at the Palladium. They are working so hard to get people reseated/rebooked and they are asking everybody who hasn't heard yet to continue to be patient, as they are working through '000s of bookings. I got a bit spooked reading that people were receiving new seats or credit notes, so I booked today at 11.30. Lo and behold I received my option to rebook or claim a refund an hour later. I had to contact them as the seats I had booked were more expensive than those on the link that I was provided. This is because original prices are being honoured to those who carried forward tickets from last year or booked preview performances.
So... (apologies if this has previously been shared)... There are two price tiers - one for those who are booking new bookings; this is the standard dynamic pricing system. The second system is for those needing to rebook; this is to ensure that people are able to book an equivalent value seat to their original booking, rather than today's prices which are around £10 - £20 per ticket higher.
Sorry if this was clear to many - it wasn't to me, and I promised the very helpful chap in the Box Office that I would share this information so that people with existing bookings know that where at all possible they will get a similar seat to their original booking albeit on a different date.
Hope this helps anybody who has concerns about not hearing anything yet.
