People want information and reassurance, the opportunity to book reasonably priced transport and accommodation and to be able to plan their lives in advance. We give our money for ticket bookings in advance in good faith, and when postponed would just like accurate and timely information. This has not really happened to me. I had to contact a lot of separate people to confirm that I still had tickets for my show yesterday, and eventually the theatre box office looked it up for me. When Ingresso finally got back to me the day before the show they gave me incorrect information, yet it was them that had my money.

I haven’t had any emails. There’s nothing in the “next event” box and the last thing in my purchase history is now the Palladium panto from two Christmases ago. I’m not due to go until the end of August, so it does make me wonder how long they’re going to socially distance the shows for now.

Yeh had them, Just bog standard generated emails. That everyone got. Nothing of any use which is disgusting. Treating customers like this. Have several bookings with them too. Want a refund for the 1&3rd. Not being fobbed off with a credit note either for these shows. Yeh need to know about the 17th too but as usual I’m Sure I won’t know till days before again… 👎🤬🤬 Oh grow up and stop being so entitled, it isn't easy to rearrange bookings like that at such short notice! Have a bit of compassion for the box office staff who I'm sure are having a pretty miserable time at the minute trying to get it all sorted. I know that they’re snowed under. Have got a horrible job atm in this pandemic. I was purely saying it doesn’t leave ppl to plan for childcare everyday life. Ppl have got expensive hotels trains etc that they’ve had to plan. I’m deffinately not stamping my feet. The lack information etc hasn’t been that good tbh. Which could be our of their control. Everyone is wondering what’s going on….

Do they no longer get paid for working in said booking office? Is that a feature of returning to work after the pandemic…not having to work hard? I thought we were all doing our part?

But if you want to argue against having a bit of patience and understanding for people doing a difficult task then go ahead. I'm sure if you were the one doing it you might think differently. Courtesy doesn't cost anything.

Oh God what have I started? I only wondered if anyone else had heard because I hadn’t. Yes they’re going to be busy, I sympathise, but like others have pointed out, there’s more to it than just a show ticket. There’s arrangements to be made, and for those of us not living in London, trains and hotels. I haven’t booked my train yet for the 17th (matinee so thankfully doesn’t need a hotel) but they’re getting more expensive. If I only get a few days notice I can still go, the chances are the train will be about £150 which I can’t justify, so I’m in a quandary.
Let’s hope it all gets sorted soon!

Courtesy doesn't cost anything.[/quote] Nobody is arguing against common decency and patience, just shoddy customer service. If producers are reopening shows they need to put resource behind the whole experience, and get extra people in to sort out the ticketing for this first part of getting back to normal. Generic holding emails are all well and good, but they do not offer reassurance if what they say is going to happen does not happen. NB: Have just re-read this and picked up on your condescending & unnecessary tone. These aren’t nurses on a covid ward or carers in an old peoples home. These are administrative sales people being asked to re-arrange some bookings. At no point has ANYONE on this thread suggested not to treat them with respect or politeness.

Just had a series of e mails from LWT regarding my Joseph booking for Friday. A bit confusing at first as had an e mail saying they were looking forward to seeing me on Thursday!!!! then a 2nd one to say the performance was cancelled and a credit voucher. Finally a third one saying that the first one had been sent in error. Also as I have 2 bookings I had to try and work out which one they were talking about as there was no performance date on the e mail - anyway got there in the end. It seems that they are just cancelling the booking and, rather than move to an alternative date, they have given me a credit voucher for the value of the booking to use and book another performance. There is also a special link to the website meaning that we can book another date at the preview price and not the normal price. I think that's pretty fair and seems the easiest solution. It looks as if the voucher can only be used to book Joseph but there is a link to a form if you want a refund. I would have preferred if the voucher could have been used for any LWT show as I was going to book for Back To The Future but if I get a refund I can still book and use that money, so no hardship really. I am now waiting to see what happens to my 2nd booking which will also be affected as its now a socially distanced performance. But this is the performance I really want to see.

I used my back to the future voucher for Frozen with no issues so would hope these work the same.

Now that's just plain greedy. 😀 30 years since we first saw Linzi in the role and all those tickets that were sat there waiting to be booked... it had to be done! If we had to pick one show out the two we’d go to the matinee as it’s her very first 🤞🏻

My booking has also been cancelled, voucher sent, with a very tight deadline to use this before 5 September 2021. Of course, the prices have gone up since I booked (right back when this first went on sale)...

But the e mail says if you click on the link you will have access to the preview prices so shouldn't have to pay extra unless you book a seat in a higher price band.

Managed to get another seat at the same price, although slightly further back so I think there's also some dynamic pricing in there.
