Also had the same email for both Joseph and Cinderella. I'd be happy to let my first preview ticket (in the middle of a row) go and keep my aisle seat for July 17th mat (theoretically Linzi's first).

The planned reopening date is 19th June, so if they do stay closed for the four weeks, the 17th will be cancelled. But i saw online that ALW is in talks to get Cinderella done as test events, like they have done with football etc. Why not do it for all shows? I guess it pays to have friends in high places. |

I’m praying to the theatre gods that Joseph is also a test event as it has already been proven that the Palladium is safe (albeit with socially distanced events). I see that performances are now off sale until 21 July - I’m keeping fingers crossed that they’ll be able to run the first few weeks at reduced capacity but it will be a logistical nightmare to reseat everyone socially distanced (and move others to other dates). I think Hairspray did rebookings successfully when a similar thing happened so it’s not impossible. I need some Joseph in my life!

Didn’t get a Joseph email, then realised I’m booked end of July so will hopefully be okay.
Hope everyone’s seats get sorted without too much fuss.

I’m praying to the theatre gods that Joseph is also a test event as it has already been proven that the Palladium is safe (albeit with socially distanced events). I see that performances are now off sale until 21 July - I’m keeping fingers crossed that they’ll be able to run the first few weeks at reduced capacity but it will be a logistical nightmare to reseat everyone socially distanced (and move others to other dates). I'm glad they're able to open with social distancing to start with, but I'll be gutted if I get kicked out of Linzi's first show as a single person booking. It's the only one of her dates that I know for sure I can make atm. Fingers very tightly crossed!
Hopefully they'll start off by offering refund/exchange for anyone who from the first few weeks who wants to move and then see where that leaves them, rather than just automatically removing people first.

Same here! I've got a single ticket for Linzi's first evening and I'm hoping it's not cancelled as it booked through an agency and not directly with the theatre |

This is a bloody nitemare not knowing. Have the first show on the 1 July and still nothing. Getting worried now I must say. I know their trying to sort tickets atm but surely we should know soon…

This is a nightmare situation for anyone who works in a Box Office - I'm sat doing the same thing for a much smaller venue than the Palladium.
I know we need to know, but it doesn't open till a week on Thursday. Give them time, they're doing their best x

I can’t believe it’s this hard to change a pair of tickets! |

I’m also waiting to hear back for opening night. I won’t mind too much if I’m booted out to be honest, I’m more keen to see Linzi later on in the run, any theatre is welcome right now though
