Saw this Friday evening and booked for Linzi, too good to miss.  I was planning to go to London in September anyway, though I am not at all sure this will/can happen or all the announced shows will happen as planned. But just for the fun of booking again, I will risk not being able to use this ticket and losing the money. Everything else will have to wait, until shows started again and the situation with theatres / travel becomes clearer. Crazy, I know. Still happy. |

I think for me, the most devastating thing about June 21st potentially being delayed is theatre. I know theatres are open from today (woohoo!) with socially distanced seating, but Joseph has been selling at capacity. So what happens if it can't go ahead at capacity? Will they delay the entire run? Some of the run until restrictions end? They probably don't even know yet! Luckily, I've booked two Linzi performances - 17th July and 28th Aug so fingers crossed I can do the August one at least! And hopefully even if, worst case scenario, it gets pushed to next summer, Linzi will still do it! There was soooo much excitement after the announcement! Fingers crossed the vaccines stand up!!

I know you’re just having a joke Mr B but seeing as this board is a place for many theatre lovers to come and talk about their passion and love of theatre without judgement from people who don’t understand, it’s not really a good look to make fun of someone for wanting to see a show multiple times.
I think it’s a great production with a brilliant lead in Jac Yarrow and Linzi will elevate it even more!

...whereas I thought it was pretty awful and longed for the old Palladium production that had energy and didn’t feel like a panto. Hoping we can get some of that back along with Linzi (and Burke hopefully)’s vocally superior narrators.

I'd have booked more if I lived closer! Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed that it all goes ahead as planned. Also 100% agree with Lewis! This is a safe space here where we can be as 'geeky' as we like with our favourite shows/performers without the judgement we get from others who aren't into MT! I'm certain Linzi will appreciate the support!!! |

I didnt look to see where those seats are as I'm already booked to see it twice and don't want a third outing but worth a look if you have some unused vouchers.

In an interview yesterday, Linzi confirmed she will be playing the narrator as Sheridan Smith did in 2019, ie all the parts! I think it should be good! Linzi is great at comedy. When it will open though is anyone's guess. *shakes fist at BoJo*

Got that email for both shows too.
I'd offer refunds to those who wanted one and then socially distance those who remain. Of course they might nnot get enough people who want refunds, but I'd at least try.

I've just got the e mail for Cinderella but not Joseph so far and I'm seeing that first.
Guess they are sending out in batches.
As I'm seeing it twice in the affected period I'd be happy to let my seat go for the first booking and keep the 2nd. Fair deal isn't it 😀
