I have to say anyone booking tickets for things this summer are being a bit dim (to put it politely) so I don’t have much sympathy there.
I do think these theatres need to be more honest with people who’ve bought tickets already though and fast. I understand that everyone’s been hit- including these producers and theatres so it makes sense they want money coming in if at all possible. However, they have known for weeks now that this run is being delayed, likewise Frozen being pushed back to next year, and people need the choice of either keeping their bookings (To be reallocated) or having a refund

I’ve now heard on the grapevine that this is indeed moving dates and that existing tickets will be moved over to the new dates when they are confirmed. Interesting - and as expected I guess! Did said grapevine think next Summer or sooner? I don’t have any more info at present, unfortunately.

Well as long as I keep my first preview aisle seat then I dont mind. It's clearly not going to happen as planned as I follow Jac Yarrow on Instagram and he is most definately stuck at home so the cast haven't been rehearsing. But they have been very slow in any announcement at all. That was our thought too, as we always book front stalls and wouldn’t want those changed!

Indeed the fact they have kept it on sale for this Summer is a bit bad really. And annoying, as in general LW Theatres are deffo one of the better companies I have interacted with in this period.

I suspect they will just push this to next summer now. At least that is relatively safe to plan on. I don’t envy these producers and theatre owners- they are suffering huge losses and the uncertainty is horrible.

At least it gives them longer to find a bona fide singing STAR for the narrator, or a couple that could share it...or all of Little Mix...or some of Girls Aloud. They could have a girl group roulette table with the sh!t ones missing. Imagine all them Sugababes and Atomic Kittens (and all those left behind)

If they delay it enough time, Sheridan Smith's baby could be in it !

I wish they’d just get one of our fabulous leading ladies to do it. And cast some celeb as the Pharoah if they need to.

I saw the second best Joseph narrator ever (IMHO) at Kilworth House in 2018
Shanay Holmes was superb.
(before anyone asks - Linzi Hateley of course!)

I was booked for first preview so as long as I get swooped to same and same seat then I'm ok with that.

Not bad at all - legally they have to until it is confirmed cancelled/postponed, otherwise they would be in breach of contract. It isn't difficult to use a bit of common sense and not book, though if tickets are being transferred anyway then there isn't actually a problem.

One of the options for Hello Dolly ticket-holders is a swap (with seat upgrade) to Joseph at the Palladium...

Just had an e mail from the Palladium. Have been rebooked for 2021 1st preview same seat as before so that was painless.
