Only if she brings the boyfriend along... Haha, so my friend I was gonna mention Andrew coming along as Joseph but didn't know if you'd think the role was too small for him! (Given it's basically two songs!) ...but at least one of those songs is performed in a loincloth. And having him back in London means I don't need to throw so much money at transatlantic flights. (seriously though, I'm sure the Narrator will be another star casting and Christina and Andrew should go and do Starlight...)

The only thing that would make me watch it again would be to put the music front and centre. Someone with the vocal skill of Christina would switch it right up and make it musically exciting instead of just flashy...but I’d much rather she did Pearl in Starlight as planned. And Sheridans tweet makes it sound like she didn’t feel valued by anyone other than the kids? Vanessa (u/s Narrator) issued a very nice 3 part tweet supporting her which I thought sounded from the heart rather than just going through the motions. Anyway, couldn't agree more; people have no doubt heard me bang on about this before, but the music really does need to be upfront and centre as you say. It's often been underrated as 'cheesy' in Joseph but there are insanely good melodies. So we very much had an incredible orchestra this year, but for me in no way matched by the vocals. Even Jac, who was the best of the bunch, whilst technically perfect, didn't have a quality to his voice that blew me away. (It's a slightly unpopular opinion, I thought he was great, but I didn't see how he was any different from many of the other very talented MT school graduates). Oh and as for Starlight; I wait and wait and wait...... (And keep going to Germany!)

^The S*n headline says SS lashed out at kids from the show who were at the after-show party. In the text itself, they say it was actually a verbal telling off by SS because the kids were mucking about. She says that she wasn’t even at any party as she is in recovery.SS has spoken out and decried the story as bulls**t.At any rate,SS won’t be in Joseph next year. There is no love lost between SS and this newspaper, that’s for sure.Would love to know what the laws are on defamation of character these days?

A lot of parents of children in the show have come out and said the children weren't invited to these parties anyway.
The Sun need to make up their mind. They're either slating her or sucking up to her (Dan Wootton, especially), there seems no middle ground.

The part of her comment which I did not understand was when she said if it was not for the children she would have left. Now they really tailored this part for her so I do not know why she would even say that. Especially since some people bought tickets specifically to see her.
You can be at a party and not drink.

Not if you’re a recovering alcoholic. It is the last place you would go.

She won't be back anyway as she is apparantly having a baby.

Which is pretty much the same thing.

Yes. Just back from Stages Cruise where she was very open about “having a baby onboard“ and having constant morning sickness.

So with it now being highly unlikely Sheridan will be back. Who do you think is likely to be the Narrator this year? Assuming the production is kept the same, i think we’re very likely to get a comedic actress who can sing a bit.
My guesses would be Miranda Hart or Dawn French. Both have worked with the producer previously in Annie & panto!

Sorry, should have been clearer. I’d love it to be Linzi or an unknown but i’m casting with a realistic idea they’re going to be going for a well known comedic actress!

How about Stacey Solomon? Suitably low brow with enough talent to sing for nearly an hour and a half?

But she covered it amazingly well and I personally think this’ll be the route they continue to go down. An okay singer who’s more known for comedy!
