Front stalls (second price) is £60 in Manc.
I had NO IDEA it was on here until August and was thinking about going to see if I hated is as much as I did when I saw it in the WE but not on your nelly at those prices.
I nipped into my Sainsbury’s Local which is the one across from the Palace the other night for a bottle of gin milk and it was chucking out time for Book. Several teeny weeny cast members who looked about 15 with that trademark haircut were in buying junk food and shouting excitedly at each other.
God I felt old ☹️

God I felt old ☹️ I pass the Palace on the way home from work every day and there's been some rather nice bearded stage crew outside the stage door on their break. |

I’ve just been on a trip to the US which included Salt Lake City ... Book of Mormon is at their main theatre during August - I wonder what bookings are like 🤔

I saw this last night and it was the most entertaining and enjoyable evening at the theatre! I am wanting to do the lottery on Friday Matinee. Do you think the chances are high that I’ll get a ticket?

I would go on a hot night when the last thing people want to do is sit down sweating for two and a half hours. That should improve your lottery chances. |

Really spending the cash on promo.

Watched tonight’s performance thanks to picking up one of the £25 single stalls seats only a few weeks ago. Got a side block seat in row E. Absolutely fantastic value and had a great time revisiting this show, having only seen it when it first opened in the WE. Certainly I thought there wasn’t any scrimping on the staging and I certainly got value for my money.
A great cast, though Conner Pierson as Elder Cunningham was the stand out for me. Both his comic timing and physical comedy were just perfect and he stole every scene he was in. His duet with Nicole-Lily Baisden in “Baptize Me” was just comedy gold and worth the ticket price alone.
Certainly I think the comedy factor was still there in the script, even if the shock value was maybe less having seen it before, but it was nice to see some script changes giving it a fresh approach. The audience I was sat with tonight had a great time and they were giving the production positive comments on their way out of the theatre.
A really slick production with a good sound balance between the vocals and band tonight. A great night out at the theatre.

Went to see this again in Manchester and it didn't disappoint, third time (twice in London) and it was fantastic, the other 3 with me hadn't seen it before and it was great to see their reactions but I literally cried with laughter all the way through even though I knew what was coming! As david said above, Connor was AMAZING, physical comedy perfection and probably the best Elder Cunningham I've seen. Standing ovation at the end said it all.

Extended in Sunderland until 14th September.
I wonder if they will do the same “fan preview £15” deal as they did in Manchester - the first week the first listed performance is a Wednesday. Potential for the fan performance on the Tuesday?
Also, front row is off-sale so hopefully a lottery also

Found myself in Manchester tonight so popped in to see the door. A bargain priced £22.50 ticket in Stalls Row E (there was also a Friday matinee and those tickets were down to £17.50).
Still selling well despite a near three month run.
Stalls were pretty full. Two empty seats in front at the start, of course 10 minutes in tall guy and short girlfriend arrived to cause disruption. No prizes for guessing which one ended up in front of me. More disruption when the female partner went to and from the toilet slightly later. With that and the chatty American tourists sat behind, I didn’t do too well.
Anyway, great show. The cast have really settled in. All the leads were on but I think some swings were on too, but the cast screen only lists the lead roles so isn’t very helpful. And a great response from the crowd in all the right places including claps for Nigel Farage.
Certainly as strong as the version in the West End (and, if you book your tickets right, far cheaper).

At the theatre at 5.00 last night and happened to ask if there was a single. Row P stalls for £13 - I snapped it out of the good lady's hand. And what a great evening - and I feel stupid asking, but those waistcoats? well done for getting the theatre totally dark too. So slick, and such gorgeously eccentric dancing. Loved it.

Just seen tonight's performance having nabbed a last minute £13 seat. Had not seen or heard any of it before (other than 'Hello') so had no idea what to expect but thought I'd better see what all my Facebook friends have been raving about.
I found the second act far better than the first. During the interval everyone around me were saying how they'd found it the most hilarious thing ever and I was beginning to doubt my sense of humour. However the second act really worked for me and I loved it. As has been said before the performance of Elder Cunningham was brilliant, though all the cast worked really hard.

I've been wanting to see BOM for months and finally got there yesterday afternoon. The show completely proves the power of musical theatre and comedy to make serious points. I was completely blown away with the whole production. Not a weak point anywhere. I'm going again before it ends. Interesting to see the audience demographic. It appealed to a huge age range and almost all the people I spoke to (alright, not that many but..) many were return visits and all loved it.
