I hear that the show is meant to start a tour in summer 2019 you hear correctly! Opens late in May. I assume not, but is there anything you can link to about this?

Intended sit down is 6-8 weeks in each venue, some will be longer, some may be less. The plan AIUI is to only announce one or two venues at a time, following a similar strategy to the way they extend booking in London. The UK venues are going to be interspersed with international dates too.

Interesting approach daniel. Has this been done for other tours successfully?

How many sets are there currently in the world for BOM?
Trying the figure out which set they’ll use for the UK Tour - can’t use the Australian set since it continues until late July 2019 so therefore the productions will clash !

There's Broadway, London, US tour, and Sydney. Sydney is using the set from the first national US tour, which closed a couple of years ago. The other productions in Scandinavia are non-replica.

Ooh this would be a nice way of doing it as I feel like they announce tours so far in advance now just like Wicked was nearly two year ago. I forgot I had tickets booked for wicked for next month in Cardiff Im quite shocked by that as its my top show Ive seen to me 😂😂. but excited to see the book of mormon again as i first saw it when it had not long opened at the prince of wales. its about time i saw it again.

They’ve not announced the Cardiff Christmas musical yet.... crossing fingers it’s this!
We had Miss Saigon last year and Matilda this year so it’s usually something big!

Looks like Manchester could be one of the first tour venues. Just seen a giant screen in town saying "The Mormons are coming"

Is it a tour that? That almost seems like a sit down production? There is no mention of a tour just Manchester. The sub site is even manchester and not uk tour?
I mean that would be strange but it seems that way?

Though wasn't it mentioned somewhere in this thread they were only announcing and going on sale with one venue at a time? I'm sure i read that. So this fits with that i guess.

2 x North East venues - a year apart. One Sept 19 and one Sept 20. The second will be announced after the first one closes. 4 week sit down. Sunderland Empire first then, since Newcastle Theatre Royal has Les Mis August-October. Wicked was a standing room only sell-out up here, but Miss Saigon is really struggling. Will be interesting to see how Book of Mormon does, it's such a large venue.
