Very good casting imo. Ramos is well-trusted by Lin & obviously knows the source material well. Plus he’s a great performer & very charismatic.

Everyone should be clamouring to work with Lin once because once you do it seems you're set for life in terms of career opportunities. So loyal.
But yes I think this will work well, especially with his recent screen success in A Star is Born.

He was *barely* in A Star Is Born. This'll be MUCH greater for him, great news! By success, I meant it's a HUGE film and he will be somewhat recognizable to moviegoing audiences now which helps studios to get on board with him having a lead role like this. |

Anthony Ramos was very good in ASIB even though it was a small role.
It’s been directed by Jon M Chu who directed Crazy Rich Asians so the film is in safe hands

He's also Grace's assistant in the Will & Grace revival, though he appeared only once or twice at most.
He's the right choice for this.
